Went there to play the machines and see what they had!

$1 per token, there being a $1, $10, $20, and $50 option. For the options above $1, you also get some freebies but forgot how many... Sorry!

The small claws are 1 token and 2 tokens for the large. There is also a chance machine where the umbrella like top spins, and you have to drop the top at the right time to drop your prize!

The plushies are quite cute! They have some American styled ones too. I got a total of 11 items from I believe to be 30-35 tokens. Three large plushies and the rest from the smaller machines.

The items such as the Sonny Angels and Labubu are not real and are knockoff brands, but it is understandable being in Lawrence.

The only thing I am disappointed in is this Sanrio blind box that I won from the small machine. It is supposed to have a small ceramic Sanrio character in it, like the store showcases in front of where you can buy it and in front of their register. Instead of a Sanrio character, I got a random person(?) in a bunny suit. I was wishing for Kuromi or Pochacco... I understand not getting them, but is isn't even a Sanrio character! Very sad to come home and open.

Other than the machines, prices were decent and they had a lot of cute stuff. Machines were fun to play and staff...

I came here because I love Japanese culture and I was excited to check out the store, driving 45 minutes. I am very familiar with Japanese brands, art, and more.

The moment I walked in, I noticed the “mofusand” cat brand but instantly I knew something was off. These mofusand plushies looked of poor quality, inconsistent, all of their faces were off and this is something that the brand would never associate with or put out. These were obviously a knock off, which now looking at reviews, everyone is complaining about them selling fakes here.

This does not represent real true Japanese craftsmanship and brands....

so fun!!! walked out with an armful of plushies and will probably be doing the same thing next time i come, staff is super nice and helped us whenever we needed anything, and i got a cute free pen after posting them on instagram!! sanrio merch in the back is also really cheap compared to other sanrio stores, there's so much cute stuff i totally recommend it especially if you like sanrio its so easy to spend hours...
