I bought my Lexus SC430 to get a basic double din radio replacement. The price quote was close to $1100. The manager told me that I needed to purchase an aftermarket interface and that would allow steering wheel controls and oem navigation to operate as normal. I purchased the interface from the manufacturer at a savings of $300. The installation was horrible and the installers cracked the factory display for the air conditioning controls. I was told that my speakers needed to have new wires ran. Of which there was an additional charge outside of the initial estimate. When I picked up my car two days later? The stereo system sounded worse, than my factory system. I was quoted an estimate to replace the existing speakers and to build a subwoofer enclosure. The oem stereo cover was reinstalled and the open/close function didn’t work. The manager tried to convince me that it wasn’t working when I brought it in. I took my vehicle to a reputable shop and was shocked at the level of incompetence and poor workmanship that I paid for at Digital Car Audio. The broken brackets, missing screws, and the overall shoddy work was clear. Subsequent conversations with management after the install didn’t fare much better as excuses, a lack of accountability, and outright lying was the reaction to the poor representation of the work performed. I would recommend that anyone interested in patronizing this location? DON’T. They are the worst and are only interested in fleecing your credit card. Needless to say, my calls have not...

John and Mike at Digital Car Audio did a horrible job installing my speakers and followed it up with horrible customer service, backed up from the company owner, Bob.

John and Mike installed my tweeters into the factory wiring, feeding them with full-range power from amps with NO highpass and causing them to fail prematurely. The Rockford speaker manual states clear as day the tweeters are to be wired off of the tweeter outputs on the mid-range speakers only.

When the tweeters actually worked, the sound I was getting from their work was beyond bad. It was INSANELY bright in the front, something that should have tipped them off if they even listened to it after working on the vehicle.

I found out the wiring error when I opened my car door up to do some work much later on, but since I had opened up the vehicle, (this is how I found out it was actually an installer error in the first place) they flat out refused to honor their "lifetime warranty" on workmanship. They even insinuated that I could have tampered with the wiring to make it look like bad workmanship on their part.

They did not look at the vehicle. They didn't even call me back to tell me they were denying their own work. I was told since they weren't going to do anything for me they didn't feel the need to contact me at all.

Look elsewhere. Digital Car Audio ducked and dodged their responsibility and when faced with a few hours of labor reinstalling $50 in parts, they chose to instead insinuate I tampering...

However, my name is Tim, and I just wanted to ensure that this post is listed under my name and not the name of Mr. Mann. I have been doing business with Digital Car Audio in Lawrenceville since 2011 when I bought my brand new Jeep. I had a lot of work done by this company. Everything from Siriux XM Radio, Viper Auto Alarm, rear view camera, aftermarket Pioneer Radio, etc.

Each time I've come in to have work done to my vehicle I have been exceedingly pleased with the work performed!

Although there has been some personnel changes over the years I've always found everyone to be highly accommodating. However, here of late I've been dealing with the Manager at the Lawrenceville store, Michael Mann. Mr.Mann, and his staff, have lived up to the high standards that I've come accustomed to by Digital Car Audio.

I would highly recommend anyone reading this review to visit Digital Car Audio in Lawrenceville, and have whatever audio, car alarm, or window tinting needs performed there! I can assure you that you will be pleased with the service that you receive, and will want to go back to that location time-and-time again as I have!
