Customer service is terrible. You walk in and employees do not greet you. Nor do they greet you once they come to your table to take your order. When my mother and I would say thank you he just says mmhmm LOL. It’s really sad though honestly. Especially when you make a living off of your tips.
When it was time to check out I paid with my card but I left the cash tip on the table prior to paying because another server was checking me until he walked over to assist her at the register. However, once our male server sees that I input “no tip” when checking out. He immediately walks away in rage (like a child who can’t get their way) and did not even say thanks or have a good day. The entire time his tip was on the table. I thought about taking the cash tip back from off of the table since he DID not deserve it but I left it alone. He needs it but he’ll always be miserable with that attitude he has .
I’ve worked in the service industry years ago. And I just don’t understand how someone who relies on tips to make a living can have such a nasty attitude and provide terrible service. Not to mention the store was empty. But to each it’s own...
Read moreI've been living in Georgia for 4 years now and this is my first experience at a Waffle house. I used to live in California. The thing that stood out the most here is the hospitality. The servers were so nice and it is definitely a different vibe than if you were to go to IHOP. However the options of food are severely lacking. Maybe because we arrived at lunch but I was hoping for a more....waffle centered breakfast. I instead opted for the burger and hash browns. They love hash browns. It's almost on all the menu options. If you love hash browns they got it. Maybe should be called hashbrown house instead. The food is subpar and a little too greasy for my taste but it wasn't bad. The price for the qty of serving of foos you get isn't much. I'd say if you are looking for a quality filling breakfast meal like at IHOP...then go to IHOP. But I can totally see myself eating here if it's late and I have no options but I want to eat a good meal at midnight, then this is where I'd want to go. Sad to say I don't see myself coming back here unless I'm wanting something breakfast like...
Read moreI came in for a little breakfast before my final exam. I was in a hurry and I knew I would be able to eat my entire order in the time that I had so I asked for my order to be packaged to go so that I could leave easily whenever I needed to. There were at least eight staff members working on this very slow Monday morning and yet it took longer than it should have to be acknowledged and have my order taken. Additionally, once I received my order I was told by a waitress that it’s Waffle House policy to not eat to-go orders in restaurant. I found this to be very rude since literally I was in and out in 15 minutes tops and it wasn’t busy. What difference does it really make if I eat a to-go order that I didn’t call ahead for in house?! After involving the manager and him confirming that that is their policy, but then he later tried to backpedal and say that I could stay and eat. NO THANK YOU! Why would anyone want to stay and eat after being run off like that?! I left. I suppose it is WAY TOO MUCH TO ASK FOR to have a quick, efficient meal somewhere. poor service for...
