Completely disappointed!! Wife and I stopped in hoping to eat some good food, have some drinks and just relax. There were maybe 12 to 15 people (customers) when we got there. 2 tables looked like they were finishing up and everyone else was at the bar. Definitely not busy. When we walked in, there was no greeting at all which is cool but definitely a clue. We seated ourselves as the sign said and just waited as we watched the games on the tv's. Well..... 15 minutes had gone by and no one so much as even spoke to us. The bartenders were only concerned with conversations they were having around the bar. So I intentionally made eye contact with every bartender thinking maybe they'd see that we hadn't been served. That didn't matter! I really hate to think like this but seeing we were the only POC there and after reading some of the reviews regarding this really makes me wonder! We got up and left and no one seemed to care. It was by far most uncomfortable setting especially for people to look right at you and not acknowledge your presence. Everybody on this side of Gwinnett knows us as we try to patronize everybody. Trust me.... Definitely your loss! We won't be back! You only get one chance to tell/show me I'm...
Read moreThe overall atmosphere was alright. The bartender was a sweetheart. However, the person I was watching the game with wasn't as ok. He ordered a double Courvoisier extra neat, and sadly felt as though he'd been duped. He stated that when one's been drinking top shelf as long as he had, it was pretty safe to say you'd know when you'd been had. He was so disgusted that he wouldn't drink after having smelled and sipped from the glass just once. I'd asked him to say something and he stated that the bartender more than likely didnt even know this was going on. I told him if it were true, he should bring it to someone's attention. Because he shouldn't be paying high prices for a drink which didn't match it's worth. Long story short, he didn't, he just complained about it to me. The pretzel bites were sadly tough. More along the pretzel chip side. Character enjoyed the wing's tho. As for me, I was over it the minute he refused to call them out for the alcohol switch. Like why complain if you're just going to be an enabler to the madness at the...
Read moreWe went to try the burger & fries that so many ppl recommended for $7. That's the lunch price 😆 dinner is $12.00 plus an additional $1 for cheese or bacon, etc etc. Anyhow, I'm sorry I was not impressed.... but I think it's bc of my own personal preference. I like a thinner patty with crispy edges with a good size ratio to the let, tomato (it was cut waaayy to thick), pickles, onions (again too thick). The bun was wonderful, but the meat was like a round baseball not flattened at all, it may appear so in my Pic but I did that flattening 😆 so kinda dry on the outside and a tiny bit of pink in the middle. When I put all the goodies on it, my mouth wouldn't open THAT wide 😆! The fries were overcooked. But our server was fabulous! My friend ordered the same, no burger complaints but not a fan of the fries bc he too thought they were overcooked. He did say the big deal at Applebee's beat it hands down for...
