Garcia's Market — Local services in Layton

Last Saturday we took my daughter to the Layton Garcias for her Birthday. The food and our waiter was great so for that reason I would give this rating 4 stars but I wanted to make my daughter’s birthday special and ask if she could be sang to. I know it has been done because we had the staff sing for someone’s birthday a few years back. So I said I had to use the restroom so I could secretly ask the hostess if they would sing happy Birthday for my daughter. I told them, two women what my daughter was wearing and the one hostess said they would do it. Well that never happened. We sat through our dinner and desert and it never happened. I don’t know if garcias do not do that anymore or not but if they don’t please don’t say you will and then not do it. Just a word to the wise. Be careful when asking for a favor like...

On a whim my husband, daughter, and I decided to check this store out on our way home. It was a Tuesday evening around 6:00 and the store was pretty empty. I was actually expecting a much larger store, but it’s fairly small. The aisles aren’t the widest and it definitely felt pretty tight with the three of us trying to look at everything. I feel like they did well with the space they had though.

Every aisle was filled top to bottom with so many fun items. We found a few things we wanted to try (some yummy ice cream and drinks).

In the back towards the left they have a huge selection of different fresh meats ready to be cooked at home. It smelled amazing and made me want to go back to pick up dinner one night.
