Pepper Lane Fudge & Sweets — Local services in Leacock Township

This was not the best experience for me. I bought a piece of fudge (10.00) and 1/2# of chocolate covered Raspberry jellies. When I got home and opened the bag I was shocked, the fudge was a solid rock, nowhere near fresh. When I cut it, it crumbled. The jellies were fresh, however, I’ve never opened a box of candy to find a pile just dumped into the box. Any candy store worth it’s salt will line them nicely in the box. (* They did not get thrown around in the car on the trip home) I live 40 miles from this shop, Too far to make it worth returning the fudge. Maybe the issue is that this candy store is located in the Kitchen Kettle Village which is a huge tourist attraction, so they aren’t counting on repeat business & don’t care? Fudge was yummy, although I can't say that I personally found it to be anything overly special. (Perfectly great, but certainly not like the best I've ever had or anything.) But on the flip side, I found their "delights" (which, at least to me, were a fairly unique filled chocolate candy; not quite like anything else I've had before; although I feel like the closest comparison might be chocolate creams) were out-of-this-world! We get fudge from this location every time we go. It's unfortunate that I live so close that this is far too often for my belly getting larger and larger. This is a unique fudge that does not need to be refrigerated and will stay hard on its own outside of the cool. It's still, however, melts-in-your-mouth when you eat it. The flavors they have are so tasty and my favorite is vanilla. This stuff is incredibly tasty and they have a deal to buy 3 and get one for free which is an excellent deal which usually cost around $20 well...
