The Olive Basin — Local services in Leacock Township

Went here for the 1st time on Monday May 22nd 2023 as part of our Lancaster, PA vacation with my family We were at Kitchen Kettle Village,. The Olive Basin basically is a shop where speciality oils are made for cooking purposes, as well as for salads. We discovered blood orange, and mango vingarette that was very good. We ended up buying a package of 6 of them. We were also able to sample the mango one, as well as a chipotle one. My mom asked what they can be used for, and basically for salads, and for cooking like one can baste the vingarette on a chicken. He also helped us with our samples too, which was helpful. We picked out 6 more vingarettes, and hope to enjoy each and every one of them for a meal at home. Cashier also was very nice and helpful, and wrapped the bottles in a bag for us. Here today 5/16/25 and it has large selection of oils and vinegars and spices and even plates and pastas however many items are expensive. I saw a cutting board that said half price so I got excited but it was still $54.50 ouch! That was again at 50% off. We did buy a large amount of small bottles and when you buy four you can get one free however now they make you choose from only one oil or vinegar. I do like the products though since I spent $175. We were there on Saturday April 9. The store was clean, well organized and inviting. We really enjoyed the tasting experience. The staff was knowledgeable and attentive. The whole experience was a no pressure one. There was a great atmosphere amongst the many shoppers. We focused on their vinegars. The flavors were outstanding.
