Tll;dr: customer service was lacking and things were pricy but we ended up having fun. So in the end we had fun for sure. But things started out very rocky. My husband wanted to take me on a special date and called ahead to ask about reservations. The employee said no reservations needed, just come on in. So we did. First of all... they didn't greet us at all.. we walked up to the counter and they just stared at us and so my husband finally said "just us two..." Well all the tables were full and they said we can either wait there for around 30 minutes or leave and walk around and come back, however if we did that we would lose our place in line. So my husband was already mad since he tried to make reservations and was told it wasn't needed and so we just stood in a corner awkwardly for 30 minutes. One of the employees finally came up to us and asked if we chose what we wanted to do and was trying to be helpful. We finally got a table....and then things get rocky again. I go talk to the girl at the counter who was fiddling with the debit card scanner and I tried to ask her questions but she kind of snapped at me when I was about to ask her where things were and said "im fixing this right now" like I needed to leave her alone. I ended up finding supplies on my own later. We went back up and paid and starting doing our crafts only to find out we used the wrong paint. We did not get hardly any instructions except "just paint those and spray with finishing spray etc." We were never told what paint to use or where supplies were. The employee did end up fixing the problem for me which was nice and I appreciate that. However I am irritated because everyone that came in after us got a warm welcomed greeting and instructions/help on what to do. Not once were we asked if we had been there before which we hadn't or if we needed help or had questions. Also things are overpriced but thats to be expected. Im just kind of disappointed that my husband went out of his way to try to take me on a fun date but the employees kind of ruined...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI adore this place. My introverted side very much enjoys the calm vibes and opportunity to create/craft in this inviting space. Great place for a date night, whether you and your person want to work on a craft together or separate pieces. Also great to go by yourself as the times weāve gone havenāt been busy and overwhelming. Typically good music playing at a reasonable volume.
The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. I appreciate their knowledge of the options available and helping instruct you on getting started if needed.
As someone who is not very artsy and intimidated by a completely blank canvas, I love the craft options here that give you a bit of a start but still a lot of room to make it your own.
They have some large and in charge milkshakes that Iāve heard are quite...
Ā Ā Ā Read morePaid like $20+ to make a candle with my kiddo. He was super excited to put the wax beads in the melting pot, but he put in two pinches before an employee that was changing the trash next to us said āhere, this is fasterā and took the wax container from him as I was giving him the spoon to start spooning it in, and dumped it all into the pot at once. There are three candle stations and the other two werenāt being used. He was extremely disappointed and I was upset because she had not been helping us, we did not ask for help, and I know how to pour something from one container into another. I didnāt pay $20 to watch an employee show me how. That was half of the candle making and her doing that definitely put a damper on his excitement. Milkshake was...
