Incredible selection of wines, spirits, and beers with a great neighborhood atmosphere! I went in looking for a decent rum to make a rum old fashioned and that’s when Cameron, the owner, came over to help guide me through all their selections. He was super friendly, made a great recommendation, and then told me all about their rare bottle raffle that occurs often. I’m also a huge whiskey/bourbon fan so my visit became even more intriguing! They’re also in the process of getting a loyalty program created and he mentioned they have tastings and other fun events on the regular. They also had a big ole cigar selection so I can’t wait to check that all out. Their prices seemed to be in line with other stores around the area. Needless to say, I’ll be coming back and will most certainly be a regular. Don’t think I’ll shop anywhere else! It’s nice to have a liquor store down the street with a local feel! LWS is temptingly close to work and they made an excellent first impression, so this will likely become my regular stop for booze and the occasional cigar from their excellent walk-in humidor.

I bought a bottle of bourbon that nobody else in KC has had in at least a year (that I’ve been search for it), but I could have easily chosen a dozen other hard-to-find bottles from the shelves. All prices are roughly MSRP.

Their tequila shelves are stocked with (mid- and high-end) everything you would expect plus 3-4 bottles that I haven’t been able find easily in KC and were.

I love this locally owned store! They offer a great selection of all spirits. The staff are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable of their products. They always seem to have what I am looking for but have offered to order something if I wasn't able to find it.
