first of all this place used to be Bestway! i was a very loyal customer to Bestway for many years !paid off 2 computers 2 tvs and speakers! Bestway was great! but this is about Buddys,and they are the opposite of great.I have to say horrible management.they actually insuated i was crazy by the main guy there.heres my experience. i had been paying on a tv and speaker set for a long time.when they bought out bestway i asked how much to pay it off.they told me they dont do that.o.k. i have bladder cancer.soi had to miss quite a bit of work wich got all my bills behind.so i asked them could i skip a week and pay next week.they sad yes but i better have at least a week payment the folowing week.so i come in the folowing week to pay.and they rang me up for 2 weeks.all i had was the 1 week.so the guy says you have to wait for the manager who was outside arguing with a girl.so he storms in looks at my account thats when he calls me crazy.not like that but what he does is start talking to his employee about how crazy he would be to have said that i could pay1 week instead of 2,and that a person would have to be crazy to expect that.oh yeah by the way i only have 3 payments left.so he looks at my account some more.and talks about how bestway was so good to have worked with me.but that buddys dont want to work with me for the reason was bestway was so good to me.so then he says he can have his guys out to my place to pick up my tv and speakers.so i was like your just gonna take my stuff.and that excited him because the next thing he said was and i could tell in his voice how happy it made him to say. technically its not yours its ours so that he wouldnt be picking up my stuff just taking back whats theres after i had been payin on it for over 2 years with only 3 payments left.and one of those im standing in front of him with.in my mind thats my stuff bcause i paid on it so long and its bout to be paid off.so i asked what can i do to keep it.and finally he says angrily i will take your payment this time.but you have to make a 2 week payment next week,and further he says im gonna set it up in the computer that way and attach my manager code to it in case another employee would let you pay 1 week.you will not be able to.so the next week i went in and paid it off.I never want to go back in there again.i would not reccomend buddys to anyone.They will be real nice to sucker you in.but if you get behind.they do not like working with there customers .I think it makes them happy to rip people off.and this is coming from someone who was very loyal to bestway 2 laptops 2 tvs and a set of speakers.so i am a rent to own guy is the point im making,and if your thinking of being a rent to own person.just dont do it at...
Read moreComputer and entertainment quality is overpriced and not in good shape. I was lied to about pricing after commiting to a contract staff was unconcerned about fixing the issue. My card was attempted to be charged several times with several different fees at times that payment wasn't even due. When I expressed my concern staff replied with I do not know why it is doing that and again would do nothing about it. I intend on reaching corporate management with my concerns and issues as I was also charged several late fees when I was told I was taking off of auto pay but was still on auto pay aparently because several unnecessary fees that could not be explained by staff where attempting to be charged to my bank account and still currently are. I do not recomend this place to anyone if they can not simply fix the issue or express a bit of hospitality or concern to see that their job is being done and customer is getting and happy with their appliances needs. Also when in the store and over the phone staff blast heavy rap music singing along and again unconcerned with issues costumers may or may not have. I really hope that management will contact me and allow me to show proof of my issues and fix them because I believe in honesty and compassion and just being someone who would treat customers as if they were on the other side of...

Sales representative Tonja set us up with a bundle deal that blew away anything we had seen at Smith's Galleria Furniture less than an hour earlier. She was polite, confident and most of all knowledgable about her job and it's requirements. Those traits made us feel more comfortable while we was browsing the store. Even without the deal, the prices we had seen at Buddy's was impressive and had made us desiring at least one item to purchase. This location's size to me is the only negative "take away" that I could find in comparison to the competition I just been to. However, this perhaps may have been a blessing as Buddy's isn't experiencing a "going out of business" situation at this time. The business was clean as I did not see dust or debris that would indicate the items being sold were sitting for weeks at a time.
I'm pleased with my time at this location and would recommend Buddy's, but especially Tonja for her behaviour and charisma which made me feel like I was making a positive decision with our money instead of being pressured to...
