I am utterly shocked by the poor customer service skill of the management/ store manager. If I could give zero stars, I would. I had come in to the store last week to finish a project that took many hours to complete due to the level of detail. This project was solely done as a Mothers Day gift and realizing that it would be close to the line for the one week drop off, I asked three individual people all on separate times, to make sure it would be done for pickup in time and made it very clear that it was a Mothers Day gift. All people involved guaranteed that it would be no problem at all to have it fired and finished in time. This afternoon I go to pickup the piece and they inform me that it is not done due to an error from the kiln. The only response I had from staff was not much more than an ‘oops, sorry’. The staff who work the front desk are typically high school aged and clearly not the decision makers. I communicated that I believe it would be the right thing to do if they open a pickup window tomorrow morning since that is when the pieces will be finished. They are currently set to be closed on Sunday for the holiday. Something in the attempt to rectify the situation and benefit the entire group- not only myself. The kiln is packed full of pieces and I cannot be the only person that this has happened to. All gifts specially meant for Mother’s Day that will have to be received at some later date due to the stores oversight. I asked if one of them would please call the manager and let her know my request. A moment later the young girl returned to let me know the manager would not be in tomorrow to offer pickup. Makes me wonder why she is unwilling to offer a solution? Possibly because she herself wants to enjoy Mother’s Day as her family has planned.? So as the store manager, she is unwilling to compromise and inconvenience herself in the slightest even though her decision largely inconveniences the vast majority who also had plans set out for Mother’s Day. It shows a lack of compassion that some people travel in for Mother’s Day and that some people have schedules that do not allow for in person celebration the very next day… or the next… or the next. I am appalled at the lack of empathy from an individual aspect and (as a person who works in business operations) I am appalled at the lack of value that she sees her customers with as the people who keep that store in business. Why should my mother (as well as many other moms out there) to subjugated to celebrate Mother’s Day a different day of the year than when everyone else has the opportunity to. It’s unacceptable to expect the public to support a business that shows no regard for...
Read moreThis is a great place to meet up with friends. The selection of pots, mugs, figurines, dishes, cups, and unique items like Llama taco holders and lazy Susan's is vast. Picking an item was the Hardest part. The staff is so friendly and make you feel welcome. The paint is all labeled with test samples to easily identify. I did think it was weird that we had to change and wash our own water dishes/brushes but it wasn't a big deal. The space is very open with lots of table options. Overall I 100% would recommend it to a friend. I painted the purple dish and paid $28 for everything including studio fee ($8). My friend painted the red cherries and she paid $24. This took us...
Read moreI came here a little while ago with my kids on the half-price Wednesday and there was lots to choose from and a great atmosphere! However, when we came in the older girl who was working didn’t even look up to greet us or explain how anything worked. She had brown hair and glasses. When we asked her where we could get our paints, she simply just pointed and went back to her own painting. It seemed like she was this way with the following people who came in during our visit. Very disappointing!! We would love to come again but with a different employee who can explain it to...
