I will never shop here again. I went in for some of their Sweet Grace products because I was recommended this location by a friend since SG is hard to find other than ordering online. All I needed was the Sweet Grace items for Christmas gifts. That was all I set out to purchase. Everything was going great until I went to the cash register and Madelyn the cashier informed me "just so you know, our plus size store down the way, which is closed on Mondays (it was Monday by the way) also sells Sweet Grace. I felt as if she was judging me by my size. She absolutely humiliated me and made me feel body shamed, and as if I did not belong in Rose & Remington. Why did you even need to say, "our plus-sized store?" Why did you even need to bring that up period? You could have simply just stated the name of it and left out "plus sized." Or, you could have simply let me enjoy my shopping experience in Rose & Remington, rather than worrying about my body type. You humiliated me and made me feel less of a person. Shame on you. You clearly need to learn customer service skills to work in this industry. May you never, ever feel how you made me feel yesterday when I was...
Read moreGreat selection, beautiful store. Customer service? More often than not a long wait to check out, which today culminated in a frustrating and humiliating experience. To be fair, I was partly to blame. I did, after all, buy a sweater, wash it according to instructions, and demanded a refund when the yarn fibers became deformed and it shrank to half its size. I was also unreasonably stubborn when I refused a replacement of the exact same sweater (!!) or a store refund. I was not open-minded enough to accept their reasoning that this had never happened before with this sweater, that the manager was unable to be reached, and that the associate was not empowered to take reasonable actions which are outside of their return policy. I was also impatient when all this took longer than twenty minutes. And full disclosure, the associate did finally refund my money, admonishing me that it would be "just this once." I will say that I am now suitably chastised. As a serial sweater returner and follower of instructions, I absolutely promise never to return something to your store again. That will be a VERY easy...
Read moreI've always enjoyed the experience at Governance Way location. Laid back staff that are kind and professional. My experience at the Lebanon location was different. They were friendly at check out, but I was told that since my purchase was 40% of that it was considered final sale. I tried on the duster to ensure it fit and checked for holes. It seemed okay and I purchased the piece. The first time I wore it, I noticed an imperfection in the shoulder. I've worn it twice and the imperfection I noticed is unraveling. It's not been washed, so that isn't the problem.
If I have to pay full price every time I shop there for the ability to return things, it will definitely limit my future shopping at their stores. Its unfortunate because I enjoy the shopping experience and they have really...
