Watkins Catering — Local services in Lebanon

I just had wedding this weekend at HVO. Although the food was good, I had prime rib and was missing horsey sauce, which is a staple with this meal. I had so many guests ask for any type of condiment, I was embarrassed. And I’m a huge fan of prime rib and it’s not the same without it. Along with, no rolls and butter. Another thing my guests asked me on. I wish I had at least apology from the company. I get that communication was through our venue coordinator, but still please reach out. And maybe I’m be nit picky, but when you spend more on premium buffet you expect what you pay for. So I was left with some disappointment on service.

Edit in response to below: we put in for premium buffet, all meals should come with rolls. So I’m confused with that statement. And sauces should be default, similarly to the salads that came with dressings. And we called the service drop off and they said they had left in van but was already drove up to Dayton and...

The owners used me for an instacart order that ended up being 5 full carts. They ordered 260 bananas wanting 130lbs, 17 gallons of milk, 12 bags of apples, 16 pineapples wanting 60lbs, 4 water melons wanting 57lbs , 24 bags of tortillas, 29 loaves of bread, and more odds and ends. I had to do all of this by myself, it filled my trunk, full backseat, and passenger seat and I have a SUV. When I delivered it the woman was very rude and barely spoke to me. I had to carry in all of this with only some help from the man and during this the woman wasn't even acknowledging my presence other than to clear space and when I went to leave and said goodnight she had her back to me and refused to acknowledge I spoke. I was not told goodbye in response and ignored till I left. After all of this they only tipped me 5%. I would never use people like this for anything I needed catered. I hired Watkins in 2021 to do my wedding but with immigration and the pandemic we ended up having to portpone ojr wedding. I had already paid my deposit and they said they’d be willing to keep my deposit and use towards a later date. Well we finally had our wedding and they kept up their word and used our deposit from 4 years ago, which was such a blessing to us. They came and set up so quietly and discreetly. We were served with kindness. The food was delicious. We all really enjoyed our meals and there even was a good amount leftover even though there was only 2 guests who didn’t make it to the wedding in the end.
