Today I went in with my family to buy my little brother a pair of shoes, when we got to the mens shoe section I had to help him find the shoes and all the sizes as there were no employes to be seen. Well, while waiting for him to pick his shoes I found a pair of shoes I really liked I fell in love with them! but I could not find my size, and ( again ) there was no employe there to help. Finally after searching the whole section by myself I gave up and decided to go to the cash register to see if they could order my size. When I got there I found two employes having a conversation at the cash register and one person in the line. I asked one of them if they could order me the size shoes since I could not find them, Then she suggested I order them my self online. She didn't seem busy since she was having a conversation seconds earlier so I found it odd she suggest me to do the order but I asked her instead if she could check the back to see if they had my size. She went to the section and looked and didn't find my size and afterwards went to the back for 2 to 3 minutes and came back empty handed. She suggested I check costumer service to see if any other stores had my size. So I walked to costumer service and when I asked the nice gentleman said that they actually did have my size in the store and he would help me find them. So after 30 minutes I finally felt like I had an employee who was willing to help as he seemed energetic and very helpful. The other lady who had helped me before just seemed confused and distracted. He helped me look for the shoes and actually found a pair which were located on another shelf to the side I would have never thought to look there since it was mixed in with another style of shoes. He opened the box and found a paper and mentioned that they had been returned. He quickly grabbed the paper and crumbled it up and put it away. I tried the shoes on and they fit perfectly but I inspected them carefully since they had been a return. I found that one of the shoe lace holes was torn and I was completely disappointed. It took me 35 minutes to find the right shoes and they weren't even new rather used and torn. I was irritated and tired so I didn't even bother to ask for more help. Instead I bought a smaller size and I will personally go to another Kohl's to exchange them for my size. I will say I'm very disappointed that the first employe did not find the shoes even though they were clearly there and that the second employe tried to either hide the fact that the shoes were not in good condition and he didn't check them him self to see if they were. Over all I leave two stars because I understand some things can not be helped and accidents do happen however this could have...
Read moreI just dropped off an Amazon package for return and was met with a very rude customer service EVER. She (short hair in late teen) was moody even before I step up to the counter, I even say "Hi" but got no acknowledgement from her. I started to show her the barcode for the return and while she was scanning it, she was mumbling something to which I couldn't hear or make out what she had said so I said "I'm sorry I couldn't hear you" but she replied by saying "THAT'S IT!" and threw the receipt at me. I was dumb founded by her action and proceeded to the cashier and asked for a manager. The first woman (in her 40s or so) at the cashier say "may I help you" pretending as if she was the actual manager of the store. I started to explain what had happened and she immediately dismissed my explanation and said "we don't do that type of stuff here by throwing receipt at people", this has caught me by surprise and I told her she could check the camera recording if she like. The other cashier (an older lady, bless her heart) working the cashier in the same aisle over heard our conversation and step in and said that they need to page the "actual" store manager to which the first woman objected and say to "let it go" and "they had a truck to unload" or something to that affect but the older lady (bless her heart again) continues to paged the actual store manager right away and immediately started apologizing for what had happened and said "there was no place for this type of treatment especially to customer". I told the older lady she shouldn't be apologizing as it was not her fault. The actual store manager came right away and she too started apologizing for what had happened and I told her the same thing that apologies was not needed from her since it wasn't her doing but I just want the young girl to be spoken to and/or proper training if needed and if she doesn't like her job as a customer rep then she should quit. Thinking back now as I'm writing this review, the first woman working the cashier should be reprimanded along with the young girl and stop pretending to be somebody she's not (probably with good reason why she is NOT the manager).
I will mention this poor customer service experience to my next door neighbor, who often shop at this Kohl location as it is near our neighborhood. My neighbor can make up her own mind. But as for me, I will take my business elsewhere as long as these two unprofessional people still working there.
I'm sure there's a video recording if Kohl wants to verify the incident. Below is the date/time of the drop off and the conservation with the cashier/manager took place shortly after 19:22.

Read moreThe cashier treated me and my husband very unfairly in front of other customers. She is Indian. She had a negative and stinky attitude from the beginning of our interaction with her. I asked her about a white shirt having stains on it and wanted to check if they had another one, she stated âleave itâ. She did not even try to look up the item and see if there were more available. I moved past that. Then later I asked her if she could look up my credit card, she did. She asked for my ID which I provided to her. She then looked at me saying are going to âApple Payâ I said no, I asked you to look up my card so that I can use it. She then printed the receipt. My husband asked her if we earned any rewards, she said no. I looked at the receipt and it said we had earned $18 in rewards. That was a simple question which she did not even bother to answer properly. I looked at my husband and I was like oh wow okay, then I asked the Indian lady what her name was and she said you donât need my name. Iâm not gonna give you my name. She said âyou are causing too much drama hereâ I was like excuse me? I said to her âYou have too much attitudeâ then my husband and I grabbed our bags and left to go speak to a supervisor. This lady was very disrespectful, rude, degrading, etc. She did this in front of other customers. I have shopped at Kohlâs since 2014 and I have never been treated like this. Maybe she treated us like this because how we look like? The only good interaction we had was with the supervisor who was very understanding and apologetic and with the associate at the return desk. I donât think this Indian lady with such stinky attitude should work...
