A rustic little old tavern style steakhouse restaurant. A lot of selections with big portions to go with a little bigger price tag. Big kids menu selection wise. My husband wanted to go to Outback but I'm a pescatarian and we brought our toddler so this place is definitely family friendly and suits different tastes. From that it is a great place for business and friendly groups that will meet different preferences in food styles. No Asian selection other than Ahi tuna salad and galati so that is still good. Great bar it was packed when we came on Saturday night during a cold winter so that should tell it's worth a try. Update 2/5 - had to take away a star after I received my AHI tuna. DO NOT order the AHI tuna until they learn how to make it. A slap of raw tuna seared with a hand held burner is NOT how you do it guys! You have to actually SEAR the tuna in a pan and this is best when u have some fat and some crust to work with like a blacken seasoning and butter or olive oil , or almond crusted panko crusted. Blue ridge did not have the tuna down in so sorry. I did get the manager to switch it to simple grilled salmon they had and that was perfectly cooked and brought me back to a happy place. Thank you- great management. Oh and our server sucked. I know we went at closing hour but it wasn't that they vacuumed around us but she never filled our water u til my husband drank all of mine, and we didn't get visit after that other than when we called the for a bill. All other tables got bread and butter basket , we did not despite waiting a bit for our food. Husband had to ask for steak sauce from another server. And I ended up just getting napkins that were laying around in the corners. We will go back- in time, Bc the food we're absolutely delicious - Nu husband raves about his NY strip being perfect and that's never heard of so definitely good food just stay away from AHI tuna. Childrens menu was great portions as well - oh and amazing grilled chicken breast on the kids menu ( a little salty but perfectly seasoned for adults - need less salt for kids ). Max and cheese was good but they used cheese sauce not real cheese and I am not a fan of that. I would normally take two stars off for all of this but I did not bc restrooms were also clean and great size and they did have baby changing table. So I am still giving them 4 stars ⭐️⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ which I dont give out easily on my reviews. I hope you enjoy this place !

First time experience at BRG. We were told there would be a 10-15 minute wait around 5:30 pm on a Saturday evening and we were seated in 5 minutes. Our waitress, Allison, gets five stars - she was awesome and took really great care of us. Special orders were not a problem (subbing out carbs for veggies with dinner) which is something we appreciate. Salads came out very quickly and our meals followed in good order. The Caesar salads were excellent - fresh, crisp romaine, the dressing was excellent and our awesome waitress hooked me up with some extra anchovies. Husband's pork chops were a bit over done. My chicken piccata was very good but I would not call it piccata; the accompanying white sauce (béchamel maybe?) had a nice flavor, but was not lemony. Lots of capers. We both opted for the creamed spinach which was yummy but the onions in it were still crunchy. While we normally don't indulge in dessert, the carrot cake served hot was too tempting to resist. While it could have been a little more carroty, it was delicious. Very moist, not too sweet, with pineapple and shredded coconut. Next time, I think I'd have them skip the icing though as it wasn't the real deal cream cheese icing. As other reviewers have noted, BRG is a bit spendy but we would go there again if the occasion arises.

I've been here a couple of times at this point, and unfortunately, I've felt like I've noticed the quality has started to go downhill recently. The service is great even when it's busy. They were able to seat a party of 6 within 10-15 minutes during rush hour on a weekend, and the food came out promptly and all at once. I love the complimentary bread rolls that come with the table! Unfortunately, the appetizers and entrees were disappointing. The calamari portion was extremely small and because the calamari was sitting on a bed of two sauces, the bottom of the calamari was soggy - I would've preferred if the sauce was off to the side or in a separate sauce cup. I had several issues with the seared Ahi tuna with mashed potatoes. The Ahi tuna was so fishy and unseasoned to the point where it was not palatable and I had to spit it out. The mashed potatoes were thin and had no texture and tasted like box mix mashed potatoes. Overall, it was super disappointing for the price point and would not recommend this entree. Some of the other entrees are decent, like the chicken tenders with fries and the King Street Cajun pasta, but overall, I've noticed a downgrade in quality as it seems like corners are being cut.

Yesterday, after a great time at the Animal Park, we were hot, tired, hungry and thirsty! Not too familiar with that particular area, for restaurants, we Googled some that were near where we were and Blue Ridge Grill was one of the suggestions..We viewed their menu online and everything sounded good and to our liking, so we decided to give it a try!..

OMG! What a great choice! We were seated immediately and greeted by friendly faces.,our Server, Allison was nothing short of terrific!..Waiting for our drinks, appetizers and entrees was right on cue and I cannot say enough great things about this meal, from beginning to end.The Bruschetta was fresh garden tomatoes and Feta Cheese, fresh and with a sauce that brought all of the ingredients, happily together! 😗 The house salad was definitely a hit, fresh and crisp vegetables and awesome dressing! The Lobster Bisque Soup was very tasty with chunks of lobster, through and through..We all ordered the Chicken Picatta and, oh my goodness! You could cut tge chicken with a fork, tge sauce, amazing and tge Angel Hair, done perfectly!. My granddaughter got the child' Fillet and she ate every bit, along with crispy fries and delicious and creamy, macaroni and cheese. The rolls, served were fresh and warm and Allison kept us happy, busy and totally satisfied! A wonderful server!!.Then, came tge desert! Carrot Cake, served warm with melted cream cheese frosting..All I can say is, WOW!. CREME Broulee', absolutely yummy! The prices are very reasonable and I would highly recommend this restaurant to everyone, that enjoys a magical meal, from beginning to end! Going back in a few weeks and can't wait! The falling off the bone, Baby Back Ribs are calling me. Can't wait to try some more delicious flavors!

Hello to Allison, our server and thank you, the staff and the terrific chefs for one, fantastic, dining experience..See you, soon! Get out there, guys. You will be so glad, you did! Yum!! Ruthie, Kerry, Nate and...

The front desk staff weren't especially welcoming. Not a great impression to start off with but unfortunately it got worse. Our waiter was awful, so we had a miserable dining experience. Oh joy, terrible, inept service with a snooty attitude, just what every customer wants for a late lunch. Mr. S had a major case of image dysfunction.

First off, we are nice, friendly people that aren't demanding or rude to others. When I requested a lemonade instead of the flat coke I received, he stared at me as if I was speaking Martian and said absolutely nothing. I know he understood me because he took the coke away & brought a lemonade. At this point, my husband wanted to leave, but we decided to tough it out. The waiter never once smiled or showed any interest in making our dining experience pleasant. The food was okay but the service was slow.

Restaurants are a hospitality business, so the servers do actually need to be capable and have a friendly personality in order to receive decent tips. We agreed that the poor service and attitude warranted no tip. This was the first time we've decided zero tip was necessary. We are usually generous tippers and know how hard most servers work.

We have been to this restaurant several times. Once before we had a waiter with an attitude. So, this is our last visit. This restaurant is not 5-star dining and is in a lousy location. The food is ok to good but not worth having to put up with such...
