Day 1 of reviews until store manager contact.
My husband and I had a seemingly positive experience at this store on Sunday while switching to a new plan and adding perks. However, a significant issue arose regarding my Apple Watch Series 9. We were assured by the sales representative, Colton, that we could simply call Verizon and state we no longer used the watch to have it removed from our bill and potentially trade it in. This proved to be false. Upon contacting Verizon, we were informed this is not their policy and they do not offer such a process. This directly contradicts Colton's claim that he'd had customers do this before. Furthermore, Colton stated he was unable to waive the activation and data transfer fees, totaling $140. We later discovered this was also untrue, as these fees could have been waived. Thankfully, Verizon corporate has since waived these fees and is assisting me with the watch issue. Given the demographics of the store, I'm concerned that other customers, particularly elderly individuals, may be taken advantage of due to a lack of knowledge or ability to ask the right questions. Read moreThe worst customer service I have ever had at any Verizon store. I came in for a simple phone data transfer, I had the new and old phone with me. The customer service representative was clearly new and started what I thought was the transfer, I sat there 30-45 minutes , nobody came to check the phone at all. I finally ask what looks like the Manager who is wandering the store listening to the football game on his phone and he says the phone hasn’t even started the transfer. No apology just restarts the new phone and sits it back down next to the old. I wait there another 15 minutes and it’s still not transferring anything. I again ask the “manager” to check the phone , still not transferring. At this point I have been sitting in this store over an hour listening to the first representative gossip about where she previously worked and got fired from and where her mom lives and how work is just so hard, etc etc. then watching this useless manager wander around checking the football score so I took both phone and left. every time I would touch a button my phone started talking loudly to me and vibrating no matter what I did I could not change it.
As I got you the Verizon store , I really thought that I was going to have to wait for service and I was already late getting to where I needed to go, but that wasn't what happened at all ...
the the representative from Verizon took me right back knew exactly what was going on with my phone and was able to fix it exceedingly fast.
This individual had a very friendly demeanor very well polished and professional and got the job done very quickly. I was in there now there no time...
