Verizon — Local services in Lemont Township

Very good service and highly recommended. I went to three different stores before coming here due to needing data transferred from my old phone to new phone and was purchasing a new Apple iphone but was switching from a google phone. While one store told me they would not transfer anything and if I wanted anything transferred I would need to talk to some sort of tech support over the phone. The second store told me I would have to pay $25 to have this done even though I would be buying a phone through them. Third store just completely lied and said that I could not transfer over anything from a google phone to an apple. I found this store before giving up on my mission to completely change companies and they did everything I needed them to do and did not charge for this service. I spent $750 on a new phone but the fact that this store did not give me the runaround and took care of me and spent over an hour explaining the different features of my new phone they gained a customer for life. Today I went into the Verizon store in Lemont. I was extremely frustrated because I had just spent 2 days trying to get in my locked phone. I put a fancy passcode on the phone and then proceeded to forget it.

So I had 2 choices. Reset the phone, or buy a new phone. Hearing that you might have to reset your cell phone is like hearing that all of your 5 children have head lice 2 days before your oldest daughter is about to be married. I wasn't happy about the reset option at all. As far as buying a new cell, I wasn't eligible for an upgrade for 7 months, so that would have cost me at least $225.

So let me say thank you to Jaden, my new white in shining armor, (the Verizon salesman) to the time and effort he spent to somehow fix my phone. He saved me money, and saved the texts between me and my recently deceased Dad, pictures my daughter who lives in California sent, and pictures from both of my daughters weddings.

I had an exceptional experience at the Verizon store in Lemont. I had the pleasure of meeting and being taken care of by Jatin Gandhi. He was incredibly knowledgeable and patient with me throughout the process of selecting a new phone and transferring all of the data from my old phone. I knew that he truly cared about individualizing my experience and making sure that I was a satisfied customer. I have had Verizon for 11 years and have encountered many employees at various stores; Jatin was the only one who went the extra mile to make sure that I was receiving all of the discounts on my phone bill that I qualified for. There were various customers that returned to the store during my visit there who knew Jatin by name and thanked him for his exceptional service.
