I just move my prescriptions from CVS to Walgreens just a short time ago. My second trip to Walgreens, my first time in the drive-thru. I was behind a car and after a bit I still didn't see any movement nor could I see anyone helping them. I waited for 10 mins before going inside. When I asked if anyone was working the drive-thru, a gall got very upset . I didn't hear what she said but she handed her headphones to another worker and walked away. .Next a young guy, I belive the pharmacist went off on me. Sadly I fought back and stood up to him. Who makes a decision like that which impacts all drive-thru customers. I never got to pick up my prescription. Apparently the car I was behind was still waiting in the same spot, who urgently needed a prescription that this Walgreen didn't have. The girl working the counter was calling other stores. My question is, what about people using the drive-thru to pick up prescription that has already been filled, they have no way of knowing whats going on. I spoke with the manager and she just said ok.. seem like "I dont care" type of attitude. Don't get me wrong I thought they were going the extra mile for that customer when I heard why. What about the customers waiting? I was hesitant about going to Walgreens to begin with and now proven...
Read moreI was calling to check to see if they had a prescription in stock due to the national shortage it has been nearly impossible for me to get my prescription. They told me that my doctor needed to send the prescription over very calmly nicely and respectfully I was in the process of explaining to Brandon or Brendan who ever i was on the phone with that my doctor had told me I needed to confirm with the pharmacy that they had that prescription in stock before she could send my script over. The person on the phone hung up on me in the middle of my sentence, then when I was placed back in the hold line I waited an additional 15 minutes and then when it was my turn for my call to be answered the phone just continued to ring for another five minutes before I gave up. If I could give them less than one star, I would I understand there probably taking multiple calls like this a day but people are trying to get their prescriptions and clearly they are not being properly educated on how to get their prescription filled so instead of being rude and hanging up on people in the middle of their sentence, they could work on their customer service and listen to what their customers have to say before hanging...
Read moreI came in at 8:30 PM on a Monday night to pick up a single prescription. The drive-thru had nearly 12 cars in line, so I went inside — only to be the 8th person in line there. I ended up waiting about 30 minutes.
And you know what? The two techs and one pharmacist working that night were busting their tails to help everyone. They were calm, professional, and clearly doing the best they could with what little they were given. It’s obvious the issue isn’t the staff — it’s Walgreens’ corporate greed.
I used to work as a pharmacy tech myself, and what I saw was a perfect example of a company that’s more focused on cutting hours and saving money than supporting its employees or serving its customers. It’s not a "staffing shortage" — it’s a budget-cutting decision.
If Walgreens can’t treat their frontline workers with the respect and resources they deserve, they don’t deserve the loyalty of the people who rely on them. Give these workers better pay, more help, and the support they’ve more than earned.
To all of you workers that are working at this location, or any location. I hope one day they wake tf up. Keep up the good work ( even...
