Food is good, been going there for years. I complimented them that this was my husbands favorite restaurant but it was inconvenient that I had to drive up there to get rice that they had forgot with my almost 50 dollar order. I understand that mistakes happen but my husband wanted them to do something small since it was inconvenient for me to have to drive back to the restaurant to get his rice as heloved the rice The hostess offered more free rice I told her that wouldnât help since it would go bad in our refrigerator. She was surprised at my response. She took the extra rice back, away and asked what I wanted. I said how about an order of egg rolls as I know my husband loves these. She was very surprised and appalled thst I asked for this. I said this is one of my husbands favorite Chinese restaurants and we give them a lot of business. She responds with well we do special things for u guys but we wonât do special things for u next time. I told her I was very disappointed In Her response and she may have lost a customer as her response was very unexpected. She shrugged her shoulders as if to say she didnât care. She gave me the 2 egg rolls and took the extra rice back. Btw they may have just lost a customer of over 10 years because of a $3.45 item and her poor attitude I didnât feel very important as a long term customer and I was also offended she didnât thing we were worth a free order of egg rolls for the inconvenienced of coming back. Very disappointed, she was not very accommodating and she was unhappy and offended I even asked for something we could benefit from besides extra rice. Btw, the egg rolls very greasy abd not...
Read moreI've been for both dine in and carry out experiences and enjoyed everything I've tasted so far! The menu has a range of traditional dishes, american classics, and some Hawaiian specialities.
We ordered crab rangoons both times, because we can't do without them. So cripsy, filled with a cream cheese filling, and overall very satsifying.
When dining in we ordered the house fried rice, the happy family dinner, and the shrimp and scallops in garlic sauce. While all tasty, the garlic sauce was on another level! It was flavorful and savory and different from other dishes I've had from Chinese restaurants (unless I'm just ordering the wrong thing). I'd seriously eat the sauce on just about anything.
When carrying out, we ordered online and my husband had no issues picking it up. We had the house fried rice and rangoons again, but this time tried the dumplings, lo mein noodles, and sesame chicken. The sesame chicken was crispy and the noodles were good. Portions were very generous too! I also grabbed a chicken katsu misubi because it intrigued me! It was good, but definitely could have used a little more sauce.
We will definitely be back (we've heard the Mongolian beef is good!) and are happy to have found a...
Read moreFood quality has really gone down the last six or seven years. Meat quality for how much food is costing jusy doesn't seem proportionate. I often filter the sauce or excess broth from food with a mesh strainer just so I can avoid some of the sodium content. I've gotten diarrhea from food here many times while trying lighter dishes as well. I basically can't eat here anymore. My last order was tofu and fish, which was very good, but extremely watery. It also made me quite ill and I had diarrhea. I've been coming here since probably my highschool days, but it appears I just can't enjoy the food there anymore. I think I'm probably done with Chinese food altogether considering the prices just keep going up...
