Final Update! They finally made it right on the 7cuft freezer. So I wish there was a way to rate different things instead of just one rating meant to cover all. So I will break it down as I see it. CUSTOMER SERVICE 5ā PRODUCT REPRESENTATION 3ā WILL I PURCHASE AGAIN 5ā So in saying all that it really is worth previewing items if you are close by. I live an hour away and usually only bid on things marked new...because if someone tells you something is new you just assume its new. I have gotten many good deals here on tools and will certainly continue shopping here for tools. Once bitten twice shy as they say as far as bidding on anything other than tools. So my overall rating is 4.5ā. Great guys to do business with and I will continue to do so.
REVIEW UPDATE 2!!!
Talked to the guy who seems to be in charge and he told me he would personally check the next freezer out for me if I was still wanting one. He said he would plug it in and make sure it was dropping temp. So I raised the stars to 3 because this is still on going. When I take this last non working freezer back Im going to be into this process $130 just in gas and 8 hours of drive time back and forth. So I could have bought a brand new much larger chest freezer from Home Depot with the cost in gas and the value of my time. But we will see what comes of it. Now waiting for a freezer to be tested to be working...will post final update when it is resolved.
REVIEW UPDATE!!!
So I dont usually shop this auction even though in the past Ive gotten some good deals and the only reason being is that it is 58 miles from my house through San Antonio. So it is a 2 hour round trip. But a week ago I saw a few things that warranted the drive so I bid and won. I went to pick the stuff up and one item was a 7cuft chest freezer that was advertised as new on the site and said the same on my receipt. I get there to pick the stuff up and the freezer is obviously not new but whatever I was okay because it was for my garage. Well I get it home and clean out some mold from the bottom of it and plug it in. 4 hours later it still hasnt dropped one single degree in temp. I called they said bring it back and I did. So that is 4 hours of my day wasted and 232 miles driven. And mind you my truck gets 11mpg...so damn near $70 in gas so there goes what I thought was a deal. The owner/manager apologizes and says he will give me a refund and also just give me another freezer for my trouble. I thought great thats a good way to keep business. So a week goes by and I am going to be in San Antonio so I asked could I pick the freezer up. They said sure come on by. I get there and they give me one that for all intents and purposes looks brand new. I thought great I get my freezer now. Well I drive the hour home from there and plug it in and nothing. NOTHING!!!! I thought surely they would have plugged it in to make sure it cools before sending me on my way 58 miles home. Well I gave them too much credit. The light comes on but who needs a giant insulated light box? Not me. I called the number and of course they have outsourced their answering service to an overseas provider and they cant do anything but relay messages. Im still waiting to hear back but needless to say I am beyond pissed off...so far Ive got 6 hours drive time and $100 in gas for a damn freezer that doesnt work. Dont get me wrong these are nice guys and always friendly but the ball was definitely dropped giving me a second non functioning freezer that was not checked first. Thanks a lot guys.
Ive only bought here a couple times but both times Ive gotten GREAT deals on Milwaukee stuff!!! I check out every auction they have. Super nice guys, easy check out, items are as described! Definitely check them out if you like...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreBought items from their Buda location. Canāt get a refund from the Buda location they were closed on the 12th when I showed up to pickup my auction items. No communication no sign on the door. Iāve involved the San Antonio location to try and solve the problem. Take a look at the communication I received. Iāve asked 4 times when I can expect my return no answer. They even tried claiming it wasnāt their company that it was an Australian company this was after they got the invoices and confirmed it was their Buda location. Customer service at both San Antonio and Austin locations are horrific. 3 other people were there that Saturday as well. Take a look at the communication Iāve received from this location. If you have any problems good luck they will pass the buck and not fix their mistakes. Different location same company same horrible customer service. Addendum: Colton has never emailed me ever Iāve talked to him twice last being today he could not tell me when the refund was issued just that I should see it in a few more days. Why should I have to go back up to your Buda location I already drove 68 miles only to have the doors locked trying to pickup my items. How ridiculous is it to expect someone to drive another 68 miles just to get refunded that speaks volumes about this company. Then Colton tells me Iāll never be able to bid at one of they auctions again do you really think I would want to do that. Of course not Iām not going through this 3 ring circus again. Itās amazing how many new reviews pop up. Are the positive review even real? Actually the owner of the Buda location has the same name as a positive review left for their company. Interesting
Addendum. Been 9 business days from when I was sent an email from this company and still no refund. Iāve submitted a dispute with my card and a complaint on BBB as well I donāt think in my 43 years Iāve ever had to file a BBB complaint until buying something from liquidation AUS.
Addendum Been 16 business days from when one of their employees Tyler D said I would get my money refunded because they were closed during normal operating hours still no refund. An owner Colton S says itās processed on his end so I asked for a picture showing no response back from him and he was supposed to check with global to see what the issue is been since last Friday no follow up. Pic of text thread provided to show poor follow through on Liquidation SA and Aus locations
Addendum: they are not returning calls from my credit card company. September 12 will be 2 months they have not fixed...

It has been almost a week and I have not heard from Liquidation SA! via email (or any other way) as they stated they would be reaching out in their response.
If youāre local, they may not be a bad place to do business with, but I would advise staying away if you need to have items shipped. I have had 2 experiences here (the second was me failing to see where I was buying from otherwise I would not have bid based on my first bad experience) and both were absolute disasters. I am sure I will get a snarky response like all others who give poor reviews, but thatās ok. It is what it is and the business failures are evident.
My first experience was on 12/08/2024 when I purchased items for Christmas gifts. My card was ran immediately for the purchase at auctionās end, which is standard. I received an email with the invoice and responded to please ship the next morning. They confirmed a short time later that shipping was confirmed and I was provided an invoice to pay those costs, which was done. A week later, I received tracking information from UPS. When another week went by, I called and left 2 messages requesting an update because the tracking showed it was still with them and UPS did not have possession of it. I also sent an email requesting an update. I received a call that stated they were looking for my items and would get them out as soon as they could. Finally, 12 days AFTER they created the label, my items were sent and received on 01/02/2025, almost a month after I paid for them. They were poorly packed without any type of protection, and the boxes that held the Legos were trashed. I have all the emails for this and you can see the tracking issue on the photo attached.
Now here we sit with the most recent purchase. They never emailed me my settlement invoice and I honestly had forgotten about it until I was reminded. I sent an email requesting information and ended up calling a few hours later. I spoke with the same lady as I did the last time and she said it was my fault because I didnāt tell them I needed shipping (even though it is checked when you register for their auction and I live 5 hours away) when they never even sent me an invoice to reply that I needed shipping!! I told them to just keep the item and I would advise folks to avoid doing...
