Cicis Pizza — Restaurant in Leon Valley

I think that this place has fallen off, the pizza was ok. The prices are ok for what you get, but I truly remember when you used to walk in & a person if not everyone would say " Hi Welcome to Cici's Pizza! " They'd say it so happily & it mostly sounded like they were being honest about you being there. Mind you that these are teenagers that were working there minus the manager but when people walked in only the person working the register would say " Hello welcome to Cici's" but had no enthusiasm whatsoever with a flat affect & that was the manager at the register. I gotta give them some props as the place was very clean, the pizzas on the buffet were fresh & warm. The items that needed serious help were the pasta & the one thing that needed serious help were the desserts. I remember when their cinnamon rolls were thick, fluffy & hot. Then the brownies were way way better than what they had there. The cinnamon rolls were thin & hard like cardboard, I couldn't even cut a piece of with my fork that's how hard & tough they were. Was pretty upset at the level of service and the atmosphere of this location at night we did visit an hour before closing but speaking as a store manager myself I just was very un impressed!! Which is very sad I have always known Cicis as a friendly customer oriented place, even used ur brand as an example for my own team! No welcome when we walked in, was asked to sit on the other side of restaurant so they could clean but yet all the restraint was nothing but dirty tables! All this I could have dealt with but two things really just shocked me to do this review so was charged for shredded cheese for my salad which is completely fine but cashier had to ask manager if it can be charged in credit card so my concern is she was very quick to charge us but didn’t know how! Last thing which is wat really upset me is you should tell the worker cleaning it is very impolite and upsetting to hear an employee complain and make fun of customers while u are trying to enjoy ur meal!! Great place to keep your little ones in earshot and view should they feel the need to walk around. There is a small gameroom in the back corner and you can request a custom style pizza at the buffet, just be mindful it takes time to fulfill your order when you are not the only one ordering.
