Cinema Art Theater — Local services in Lewes

My first visit, though I have looked at their website numerous times. Friendly people, sparkling facility, very comfy seating. Loved chatting with other random people before the start of the show. Really pleased by the short intro by the gentleman who was there to introduce the 3:30 showing of the "Louis Wain" film on Oct 28. I think everyone appreciated & was charmed by his research about the film. It certainly enhanced the experience, esp for a "newbie" like myself. I might even move down to Rehoboth for my retirement in the near future. A highly glorious experience! Any one visiting the Lewes/Rehoboth area- and, judging from the swarm of PA license plates there are quite a bit of you- needs to visit this gem. The Cinema Art Theater is genuinely a fun experience with a "Mom & Pop" feel that's tangible. We thrilled to a wonderful teen surf comedy from the Sixties and knew we had to come back. A communal experience as we laughed with the other patrons. The staff and manager are beyond friendly and helpful and we didn't want to leave! Great venue! Clean, we'll run, and surprisingly spacious, with several screens. I saw the latest Miyazaki film on the main screen, and it was easily as nice if not a nicer experience that a main run theater. As might be expected, the staff and audience were quiet and courteous. It's nice to have an Art House Theater experience right in Lewes. Oh, and the parking was easy too, which is a big plus...
