Lloyd's Market — Local services in Lewes

Lloyd's has lovely fresh produce-we got asparagus, strawberries -all delicious! The roast chicken was wonderful and the place is chock full of interesting items-meats and cheeses, lots of local tasty stuff- all kinds of good things all fitting into a small but delightful little store. We ate and enjoyed all we bought. I will happily go again and would recommend for visitors to Lewes. In addition, we had a car problem that arose and when I asked who around town might be able to help-Lenny and staff went out to our car immediately-and spent a good while helping us figure it out and insisting on no thanks needed. Cute little store reminiscent of yesterday's little neighborhood stores. Don't let that fool you though! They have a huge variety of items. I saw many organic & clean foods through out. They told us that they get their vegetables local sourced & the meats are butchered in house. Last night we had their Wonder Rotisserie chicken. Lloyd's Market is an institution and a treasure of the State. I went there with my Grandparents in the Eighties and am still grateful to drop in today about once a month- it's important and crucial that we support places like Lloyd's which operate for the community, and not the corporate chains. You just can't get the level of care and the tangible feeling of family that you get at Lloyd's. When I'm in there, I treasure the moments. Someone needs to film a documentary about...
