I cannot recommend this store. I waited until our mattress was delivered today to post this. I received several prompts in store and after we left to leave a google review, so here goes. We went in to buy a mattress last week. The store itself is nice, clean, and has a good selection of beds at varying price points. Crystal was the only associate present that day and she was nice. BUT she either needs some serious training on the business' policies or she deliberately lied to us. She said she had been there a few months, so I'm inclined to believe the latter unfortunately. One of the first things we asked was if delivery was free, which she quickly said yes, delivery to our home would be free. We asked since we do have a truck and could pick it up ourselves if there was a delivery charge. While we were shopping, she explained that Sleep Outfitters has a 120 day satisfaction guarantee, which means that if we are not happy with our mattress after 30 days, we can swap it out for another one of equal or lesser value or pay the difference to upgrade to a more expensive option. I then specifically asked if that was a free service, to which she said yes, there is no fee to swap out mattresses. She also explained that the mattress would come with a 10 year, no-questions-asked replacement guarantee, as long as there are no rips or stains. These policies really sold us on purchasing a mattress that day, at this store. We decided on the mattress we liked; she was helpful and pleasant during that process. When we went to pay though, we quickly discovered that all 3 of her statements were false. While paying, I noticed a sign on the counter that clearly states that if a customer needs to use the 30-120 day exchange program, it is $99, no exceptions. She claimed she did not know that was the case. Then, after we paid, she handed me the paperwork and it also clearly stated that there is a $50 fee for delivery for all transactions under $1000, before tax. Our bill was, I believe, $2 short, so we were in fact charged the $50 fee. She also claimed to not know about this fee. She then had to call a supervisor to clarify the warranty since there was no paperwork that clearly stated what it entailed. The person on the phone explained that the warranty only covers if there is a 1.5" depression in the mattress after sitting for 4 hours unused. That's a big difference from "no-questions-asked." They told her how much she would love it and how there wouldnt be any problems and if there was they would be happy to take care of anything that came up. Well, after the delivery driver pulled the plastic off if the bed and my mom immediately noticed the holes in the bed, it was obvious that it was a used bed. Not only was it used, it was filthy. She said something and thw delivery person just rolled his eyes at the mention if it being "used" My mom called the store and the oh so helpful salesperson told her she would order her a new case for it. Well a new case does not make up for the fact that she was sold a used bed as new and now that it has been delivered, all sales are final. I too pictures of the bed and we contacted the finance company to tell them she wasnt paying for a used bed. My mom has been in pain ever since she has had to sleep on this bed. The people at the store who were so helpful BEFORE the sale was now the opposite of helpful. In fact, they were downright rude and hateful. Judy Page met with us, showed us some options and while we laid in a bed she explained to us the benefits of the bed and how the amazing bed we were laying in is beneficial to our health. Judy was so knowledgeable about sleep, the health benefits to good sleep, and how those benefits affect health long term. We were so impressed with Judy and how she made us feel so comfortable shopping. She was never pushy and never made us feel like we had to go with that most expensive option. She was personable, knowledgeable and genuinely kind. It has been 13 years since we bought a bed and didn’t know what to expect, but this was an amazing experience and we couldn’t have done it...
