STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! I would give zero stars if I could.
I reached out 4 months in advance looking for a place that could accommodate 13 people for a bachelorette outing. I am not from the area and put in a lot of research to make this happen. I ended up reaching Tim at LJ Nails who assured me that his place could handle that many people (6 at a time) and that he would ācall his friendsā and take care of us. The months leading up to the reservation, I spoke to LJ Nails around 4-5 times confirming everything. The day of I even went into the shop to confirm we were ready to go.
We entered the shop at our scheduled time and realized there were only 3 staff members working and there were only 6 pedicure chairs!! Once they did begin working on us it was a half-assed job.
The gentleman working on my cousin only scrubbed her feet for 20 seconds. She had to pick up the scrubber and complete the job! Iām almost 100% sure they used the same scrub brush on me and my other cousin who was next to me!! This place is completely unsanitary. I was going to walk out right then but due to this being a bachelorette outing I did not want to upset the bride so I stayed and endured the pain. My pedicure maybe lasted 20 minutes. Majority of my time was spent sitting in the massaging chair. After about 1.5 hours of us being there one of the ladies in our party had not even been touched yet. They then took on a walk in instead of working on her! At which point I pointed out the fact that my friend had not even been touched yet and Tim just giggled and said āwe will take care of youāā¦.. She ended up walking out and leaving the bachelorette outing. The entire time we were there, Tim, never worked on a single customer. Instead he just walked around the shop trying to make nice with everyone. Now this is the part that is the most upsetting. The staff knew why we were there (celebrating the bride to be) and took complete advantage of the situation. The gentleman working on the bride, I believe Peter is his name, completed services on her without even asking! He did gel and designs on both her feet and hands! He said to her āon your wedding day you get gel and designsā at which she replied āmaybeā well guess what it wasnāt her wedding day! Iām not sure why he thought this was giving him permission to give her gel and designs on her bachelorette day!! The brideās services ended up costing $100!! We paid the full price for the services and left without raising a stink because it was for the Bride and we didnāt want to upset her. I believe the staff at LJ Nails knew this and took full advantage of the situation and their customers. After I got back home, I began reaching out to the nail shop trying to reach the owner or manager to make them aware of the terrible, unorganized, appalling service we had received. After being hung up on multiple times I finally reached Kevin, the manager. He was apologetic and listened to my concerns and told me he will discuss with the staff and get back to me. Once he got back to me he basically called me a liar about Peter providing services that the Bride did not ask for. He also informed me that the shop NEVER has more than 3 people working at one time. Why this was never communicated to me the multiple times I spoke to the shop (way ahead of our reservation) is beyond me!! The only thing he offered to fix the situation was ONE free Mani/Pedi at their store. First off, why would I ever return to an LJ Nails? Second off, I donāt even live in the area and third off why would he think giving me ONE free Mani/Pedi would make up for the entire bachelorette outing being ruined, 2 of the 7 ladies not even getting a Mani/Pedi and the store completely taking advantage of the Bride/situation!?
This is a disgrace of a business and they should not even be allowed to continue. Do not waste your time or money on this despicable business you can do better literally anywhere else.

Ā Ā Ā Read moreI was told to go here by several friends that I entrust over a salon that I had been using for a couple of years who helped me by doing pedicures because I couldn't bend down with my osteoarthritis, that's bilateral. The place that I had gone to is relatively expensive. And when I went to LJ Nails, I was open to a whole new world. I have always been a nail biter and I also bite the skin around with my severe anxiety. I was able to not only try the pedicure servic first, which was exceptional due to their sanitation and sterilization, that is my biggest part of any salon that I would ever go to and had a dip manicure, with some extentions to make my natural nails even. To be fair, I will let you know that I was not satisfied with the shape of my nails, the first time I had gone from my fingers and kept telling amd reminding him, I don't want the shape to be bubble like. I wanted a natural shape as I have tiny nail beds and he kept going with the bubble shape. Regardless of this, he did do an outstanding job by taking this time with me an regardless of the end shape, I appreciate his effort. My friend and I returned together for the second trip to Lj Nails, Where I had a pedicure that I am satisfied with from Hanna again, In this time I waited for Katie for my fingernail dip fill. During this visit, I was able to sit In the massage chair while I was awaiting her opening, and had already put on the gel dip remover from Katie. She knew exactly what I was looking for to have done to my nails, analyzed them and said she would be able to do them. She is pleasant, calm, relaxing, like my pedicurist Hannah and the gentalman who did my first dip manicure. However, Katie, delivered exactly what I saw in my mind for my nails and I was beyond heart happy, genuinely happy to see the final results of my fingernails. It was better than I could have imaginedā£ļø That is the best nail service I've ever had in my entire life from Katie. If you are looking for sanitization and sterilization, along with a comfortable environment, with skilled nail technicians, I would go see Katie for your fingernails and Hannah for the pedicure. They're way more relatively affordable than the other salons here, extremely skilled and howevever busy they are, They take their...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIf I could give no stars, I would! I live out of town & was in town visiting family so I made an appt for first thing in the morning when the salon opened. I arrived early, & was seated within minutes (the only positive thing about my entire experience). There were three nail techs on the premises & two customers (myself & another individual). I had a middle aged gentlemen taking care of my needs (which were definitely not met!). I have gel polish, never have I had a nail tech use the drill to remove my gel polish, until this gentleman did! My gel polish has ALWAYS been soaked off (I have been using gel polish for years & have been to many different places for gel polish services!). He was rough, makin my cuticle area bleed!! He rushed through (I was literally in the nail salon for 10 mins, that's walkin in the door to walking out the door). He was sloppy, leavin many bubbles & an unfinished, disheveled look. I did politely discuss my concerns during the appt & before leavin. I was not even asked if I'd like a redo (which I would've happily accepted & it would have been much appreciated) or even an apology for that matter (I don't want or expect anything for free) but I do expect to get what I pay for, which unfortunately did not happen! I do not normally give reviews (it's been several years!!). But, I made an exception because I can't stand to think I allowed someone else to receive such low class, rushed, lousy service without at least warning them beforehand! I wish I had something more positive to say, however there is nothing! š Save yourself a wasted trip & find another nail salon close by or you'll more than likely be finding yourself in the same boat as me, disappointed & scheduling another appt elsewhere to get the job...
