We stopped in here for our first time after eating at the other sports bar type restaurants locally. I'm glad we did as we found our new favorite goto place for excellent and super affordable food! The waitress was kind and efficient. The food service prep was fresh, warm and quick. They have the best mozz sticks that are seasoned differently than I've ever tasted, in an amazing way, cheese melted to perfection and not a typical stick rather crescent shaped and many of them. I chose the marinara sauce and it was seasoned tasty. I also had a plain cheese quesadillia cooked to perfection with sour creme for my meal. He had a Swiss burger cooked to temp he ordered and he loved the bun and taste of it. The homemade fries have a special season that is addicting. He got old bay seasoned crisps, forgot the name but they are like pork rinds and a massive amount of them. The chef came out mid meal and asked how the food was and this was an unexpected surprise and we appreciated this. Our meal was filling, excellent and delicious. We had take home boxes that were even high quality, just to note, and leftovers for today. Great hidden gem we found. The environment is clean and eclectic. Next time we are in, we will play some pool! Thanks for the wonderful food...
Read moreLocated inside of the Quality inn...We ate at the Brier Patch and had a few drinks as well. The bartender Taia was absolutely amazing and knowledgeable. We ordered the quesadilla with chicken. I didn't set my expectations too high for pub food but let me tell you, it was like eating at an authentic Mexican cuisine! After telling Taia how much we enjoyed it, the "Kilted Chef" came to our table to ask us about our meal and dining experience. So personable and beyond great customer service. The chef was very kind and professional and both of these employees made us feel like important guests at their establishment. The pub has pool tables, a juke box, a bar with a nicely sized bartop and plenty of table seating. There's a back door for anyone who smokes to take a step outside of this establishment without bothering any hotel guests. The menu has a variety of items from appetizers such as mozzarella sticks and the lovely quesadilla to burgers. Just the customer service from the friendly bartender and chef is enough for you to stop and check the Brier Patch out! Next time we visit from Michigan we will absolutely come here for a bite and a cocktail! Thank you both for an amazing night and great food/cocktails! We will...
Read moreThis place was severely understaffed, especially for a Friday evening. The sole bartender/server was really hopping to keep up. My group understood her predicament and was encouraging to her. Somehow, though, my food order must've fallen through some cracks. I requested some follow-up after an HOUR of waiting. "It's in" was the response. I finally got my food after nearly 90 minutes... for a BURGER. The short staffing was mentioned to a manager. He seemed unconcerned. I don’t know who's at fault for misplacing my order, but I think the manager failed the staff that evening, unless there's a shortage of employees, I guess. The burger was good, but I think I'll eat elsewhere the next time I...
