I got my wedding dress altered here because a friend highly recommended them. They’re 45mins away from me but I thought maybe it’ll be worth it. It was a disaster! I got measured the first time, great. Second alteration, they took it in too tight by an inch. They struggled to get me in it and didn’t even offer the option to let it out. I didn’t ask because I’m not a seamstress so I wouldn’t know that could be done. But I figured I’ll loose some weight and it should be fine. So I schedule to pick it up about a month later. Pick up day, I try it on and it’s still too tight, the diamond belt was safety pinned on, it was not hemmed and the built in bra was not sewn in!!! I asked what happened and they just said they must’ve forgot!?!? Seriously!!? I was livid, I had to leave to compose myself, that was the only day I could come back at the time. I went back inside, crying so stressed out, explained to them that this needs to be taken care of asap. They insinuated that I gained weight and should’ve asked to have it let out! I was on a half vegetarian diet and worked out 4-5 days a week, impossible! Once again I’m not a seamstress so how would I know letting it out would be possible!?! Also take responsibility that y’all really messed up! Luckily my dad could come get it and they said it would be ready 3 days later. I picked up my dress from my dad as soon as I could and tried it on as soon as I could. The dress was all done except they didn’t let it out the extra inch!!!!!!! Now, it’s the week of my wedding and I’m freaking out, anxiety attack and all!! I got a hold of them asap and demand that they make this right for me. Thank God I took the day before my wedding off in case anything last minute needed to be taken care of! I go in to fix their huge mistake THE DAY BEFORE MY WEDDING!!!! They still said it needed to be let out an inch, PROOF! There is no way possible I gained an inch in a week so that proved to me they they never fixed it like they said they would and never owned up to it and no apology! It took them 2 hours but it was fixed and done! Now, yes they took care of it and it was beautiful on my wedding day. But was the stress and the hell I went through before my wedding worth what I paid them or my time, absolutely not!!!!! I’ve read other reviews and I’m not the only one this has happened to. The incompetence at that place is ridiculous. So brides, really anyone with an important event but especially brides, do not risk this place. You...
Read morePlease read-- my daughter and I met the owner 3 years ago when she only had 1 small shop it was on a Sunday and we had no appointment. The owner was the sweetest ever. This meeting led to me purchasing my dress at her location. Move forward to 8/2020 we made an appt and our young hostess Michelle was absolutely wonderful. We tried on 5 dresses bc that was the limit. My daughter chose the exact same dress from the 1st time 3 years prior. Being a late model it was on sale and left room for customization. We added a top skirt. The dress was suppose to arrive in FEB 2021 bc our PHOTO'S were schedule for spring break in March. Well, No ONE took the time to call us and tell us there was a problem. I literally did all the calling. The dress did NOT arrive til the last week of March and guess what NO ONE CALLED ME TO SET UP AN APPOINTMENT TO TRY IT ON. When I finally called one lady stated it's not here. I told her NO go check bc another lady last week said it was in and someone was going to call me to set up a try in....anywho...I had to get on to her told her put me on hold and make sure...again... i was pushing for answers....MIND YOU WE ARE TALKING ABOUT THE WEEK after spring break she told me we need 2 weeks for alterations let me set you up for 4/1/21. on 4/1/21 I get a call that my dress is NOT READY. I booked the photographer, make-up, and hair on this day bc I need the invitations...after a screaming fight I finally get a solution they they would temporarily attach the added skirt. We had to return the dress and now 4/27/21 I called again it had to be me bc no one in that building cares. The young lady Alexandra was annoyed by my call. She wanted to call me back I refused...I asked to be placed on hold so she could tell me if the dress was ready or did they still need more time. This has been the worst experiece....we all know deadlines are a must in a Quincenera...They ruined my photoshoot in Arkansas!!! Do you know how much that was!!! Everything envolving the dress was pushed back adding additional stress not needed. My dress is beautiful....but the service needs to improve. If they were concerned about there customers and deadlines this review would have been different. It's a shame bc the owner has worked really hard and does not deserve this review. I am mother of Jiselle our Quincenera will never know this but to all mother's out there STAY ON THEM! I HOPE THIS DOESN'T HAPPEN TO YOU. TO THE OWNER ...I'M SORRY BUT IT...
Read moreUpdate : got even worse, dress began to fall apart after we left before we were even 10 minutes into our reception. Ana is unprofessional, careless, and should not be trusted with anyones drsss. Awful with deadlines and color dye process on dress’. My fiancé was buying her we dress and the first thing she asked was “can we dye a dress black?” Sophias bridal shop (where she bought the dress) told her they could do ANY dress and dye it black. She picked out the dress and paid the $2k and then after they try to dye it, it came out silver. After the failed attempt, they proceed to tell us she has to dye a different dress, AFTER we have already paid for the first dress. We say okay and continue on with the process, without the dress she had originally chose. To top off the whole thing, they were supposed to have it done two weeks before the wedding, we are now THE DAY BEFORE THE WEDDING. We were completely stressed at this point and she was not returning any calls or messages. She finally calls back and says to come pick it up today (march 21st, day before wedding) at 6:30pm, we arrived and walk in and she says she needs 40 more minutes. It wouldn’t have been a big deal with we didn’t come straight from work, without being able to go home to let our dogs out. Since she is located in Lewisville and its about an hour drive from us, we couldn’t even leave to run home to care for our dogs. We wait the 40 minutes and now she needs another 20. So we have been parked outside waiting, our dogs being on a 10 hour waiting period now and we just got the dress and everything she said she was going to do, my fiancé is still not satisfied with how the dress came out either. She is awful with time management and communication skills. Do NOT recommend. She waited until last minute to do everything and it shows. You can definitely tell by the dress it was rushed and there are so many other small things not mentioned that she...
