For the price a basic home cooked meal will cost you more to turn on the stove.. What amazed me the most was the waitress asked me if I would like a menu or did I know what I wanted.. Well I asked her if they made anything special and the response was just breakfast but know for their omelettes. I took a pass and just ordered 2 eggs over med grits bacon and dry white toast! And by the time I picked up my phone to socialize since I was eating by myself she reappears with my coffee.. Then I make my coffee;. Sugar and cream to the colour of a sedimentary filled creek and as sweet as chocolate cake . LoL My breakfast was delivered much faster than I expected!! And delicious was a understatement! I ended up getting into a conversation with a local that carried on for quite sometime, while a lot of places would of been rushing me or us to leave. Quite the opposite was welcomed to stay and kinda warmed my heart. Would give this place 10 ✨...

This was our first visit, and we came as a family after reading the great reviews and seeing the enticing pictures online. We’re so glad we gave it a try! From the moment you walk in, you’re welcomed with warm greetings and a cozy, clean atmosphere that instantly makes you feel at home.

The restaurant is owned by the amazing Rene, who goes above and beyond to make every guest feel welcome. She’s incredibly kind and genuinely cares about her customers, which adds a special touch to the dining experience.

Now, let’s talk about the food—it’s like homemade comfort food at its best! Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious, but the biscuits and gravy were a standout. If you’re looking for a fantastic breakfast spot that offers great food at reasonable prices, this place is a must-try.

Mill Street Diner is a little slice of heaven in a world that’s overrun by chain restaurants and corporations.

Tommy (the owner) does an incredible job of running the show, and has created a timeless dining experience that will make you feel like you’re at home with food that will fill you up without breaking the bank.

I took my son here for breakfast and he absolutely loved it. While we ate, I shared conversation with two other tables in the restaurant and I think it was important for my son to see how good men talk; encouraging, supporting and sharing our life experiences authentically. One of the gentlemen was kind enough to pick up the tab for all three tables, and the other was kind enough to show my little boy his motorcycle.
