Royal Affairs Ballroom — Attraction in Lewisville

My husband and I had our wedding here in November 2023 and it was amazing! We opted for the top package and weren't disappointed. David's team was very helpful throughout the entire process and made the day run smoothly. Everything from setup to serving was on point! It was extremely helpful to have everything in one package versus having to source out multiple vendors. The food was great and a hit with our wedding guests. David was very flexible with us coming in to rehearse and setting up decorations. Based on the event coordinator and staff alone I'd recommend this location!

HOWEVER, I did not like the DJ at all and recommend you find your own DJ. Getting coordinated with him was a bit annoying because he has another job. We were told to fill out a timeline template with what music we wanted played when and include links to lists/songs. We sent him a specific list with instructions and he chose to add in/remove songs against our wishes. There were several times he played music we explicitly told him not to play (e.g. edited songs/ multiple line dancing songs) and it completely cleared the dance floor! People legit stopped dancing when he played some of the music he chose. The DJ also did not bring the extra lights we requested he bring. He didn't follow the timeline we gave him at all. Songs started early, late, or weren't played at all. It was so bad that my music to walk down the aisle started before I was even at the door! By the time I actually walked in the song was almost over and past the part he was told to play. We even had wedding guests throughout the night approaching him about his choice of music. Our event was on September 14, 2018. This venue is the BEST in the TEXAS!! I searched all over and I live in Mansfield. I’m still in shock of how GORGEOUS the venue is for an affordable price! Najim the manager/owner is very humble, compassionate, he aims to please and always follows through! I’m so very thankful to David Huerta he is an Angel! I was dealing with the stress of some crazy things on the morning of my wedding day and David calmed me down in a very sincere and genuine way. When I thought everything had fallen apart he really pulled me together better than any person I’d talked to that day! I promise, everything was crazy until I walked into the venue. Everything was as discussed, David and Najim were so informative, helpful and David covered EVERY detail, so much that I never had to ask any questions! I was blown away from the beginning of my first initial phone call til the last min of leaving the venue. The food was great and even though we went with the Italian dish, they have a very wide selection of any food you may want. I cannot say enough wonderful things about my experience with Royal Affairs Ballroom! We recently held a celebration of life service for my mother, and despite having only two weeks to plan, the team at Royal Affairs made everything incredibly seamless.

From the moment we arrived, I was struck by the venue's stunning beauty and elegant décor. It truly saved us on additional decorating costs, as the space itself is so tastefully designed. The tech system is another highlight; it's user-friendly and intuitive, allowing even those with minimal tech experience to handle slideshows, music, and microphones with ease.

What truly impressed me was the outstanding service provided by the Royal Affairs team. They went above and beyond, assisting us in planning every detail and ensuring that everything came together beautifully—even within our tight timeline. The chef prepared an incredible Mediterranean meal that received rave reviews from all our guests.

Thanks to Royal Affairs Ballroom, my mother’s celebration of life was a truly remarkable and memorable event. I’ve collaborated with numerous venues in the past, but I can confidently say that Royal Affairs deserves 10+ stars for their exceptional beauty, service, and overall experience.
