Recently, I had a conversation over coffee (of course!) at Perc about my coffeehouse experiences in the Lewisville/Flower Mound areas and how Perc compared. Today, I re-read my review of Perc and found it both weak and lacking of content. So, I shall revise my review and hope that it inspires others to visit Perc and continually return just as satisfied as I am!
While the previous Chai Tea Latte in 2016 was delicious, it still remains so today. Additionally, the seasonal drinks and the Wednesday Happy Hours have resulted in my fostering many new friendships as well. I have found that I frequent Perc more for the social community than just the coffees and teas!
Since I began frequenting a particular coffeehouse (S*s) since 2000 as both a place to read, journal and reflect, I have found many places lacking a quiet atmosphere. I have visited several and, due to the increasing crescendo levels due to music and loud chairs competing with louder conversations (in one location, Bible studies and theological discussions!), I FINALLY found a place where the music is quietly playing in the background, no one disrupts another's space and the baristas are friendly and nonjudgmental in your personal coffee tastes and lack of coffee knowledge! SO thankful for Perc Coffeehouse! AND they're open late enough for that late-night...
Read moreHands down the BEST coffee house in the northern Dallas burbs. I’ve been a loyal customer since they opened around Lewisville’s Western Days over a year ago now.
Staff is very friendly and extremely knowledgeable. Anything you want, they pretty much hook you up, and the beans are on point. They also offer a decent variety of bottled beverages and some food options. They could benefit from a larger selection of locally baked goods, but I’m not sure of good options in Lewisville to source from.
Atmosphere is good and very rustic. It’s a whole other world you walk into when visiting here. Super cute, super old; but, this also has its flaws. Many chairs and seating arrangements can be uncomfortable for long engagements, but just because of the nature of their age or material or design. The shop is owned by a couple that runs an antiquing store across the street on Main, so that’s where many of these pieces originate.
One of the best parts of this spot has to be WiFi. Fastest internet I have ever used in my life (big part why I spend so much time here).
This is definitely a place to try if you love coffee or want to visit a nice, cool place to just hang out or get some work done. More than worth going out...
Read moreStopped in on a whim and loved it. Decorated sort of like a fantasy man cave--cigars, hats, clowns, and a fetish for reclaimed junk-- more than for feminine appeal but they more than make up for the weird decor with the service and food.
STRAWBERRY LATTE!!! Yum! And locally brewed kombucha that is the tastiest, most refreshing sip I've had in a while and I have tried almost every kind of kombucha. The pastries and other edibles always look fresh and appealing but I have not tried them yet.
This place seems to be a little less busy but I think that is only because it is still sort of a town secret gem. Good place to conduct work from and meet with someone for a long chat. The restroom is sparkling, and they have lovely seating outside in front AND in the back.
Great, professional staff that always greet you warmly the moment you waltz into the place. So close to the ballet, park, city hall and a lot of wonderful restaurants. I recommend making this a stop on your list if you are headed to main street for business or pleasure. Glad I found it and will swing by every time I am in the...
