Corvin's is the absolute BEST and reliable source for carpet. If I could give more than a 5-star review, I would.
I tried to go through Lowe's and Home Depot for new carpet installation and nothing was transparent. They use a third party company to do everything so you can never get the same person on the phone and they don't communicate well about appointments or measurements.
At Corvin's, I worked directly with Debbie Cain, who has been with this family-owned local company for many years. She was incredible and their staff are very professional and efficient at what they do. The prices are also very fair, and quite frankly, the peace of mind and reliability is worth every penny. I paid around $2500 for 3 bedrooms which included carpet, install, and haul away of old carpet. The installers took about 4 hours and were incredibly professional. They will move furniture and take care of your house to make sure nothing gets damaged upon all the work they are doing. It was quite the process to watch.
They also communicate their arrival the day of the install. I also paid everything in full before the installation date. Corvin's was super flexible on how I wanted to do this, so I decided it worked best for me to pay everything up front. I'm glad I did. They took very good care of me and the final result looks incredible. I will definitely work with them again in the future if I need additional work done. ...
Read moreExcellent one-stop shop for flooring (and furniture).
First, I can only really comment on the flooring side of the business since that is what I ended up purchasing. However, I know they do have a large selection of furniture that seems to be priced better than other furniture stores in Lexington.
When it comes to flooring they have a big selection and if they don't have something that you want, they can get it fairly quickly.
If you are looking for a deal, they have a section in the back where you can purchase boxes (with potential minor defects from the factory) for a massive discount. This section has both LVP (vinyl flooring) and solid wood flooring. From what it looked like I couldn't find any issues with the flooring that I was digging through, so it seems like a steal. I would say on average, flooring in this area was $1-$2/ sq. ft cheaper than normal.
This is a family owned and operated business. I mainly worked with Tyler Covin and I would highly recommend that you work with him as well. He was able to get us exactly what we wanted at a...
Read moreI had the best experience at Corvin’s today! My parents always bought everything for her house from the Corvin’s in Bardstown so I knew they were quality products. However, when it came time to fix up my first home, I was looking for value and I thought Corvin’s would be out of my budget. However, after talking to a few people and hearing them all recommend Corvin’s, I figured I needed to check them out. I called this morning, told Ian what I was doing and my budget and he didn’t bat an eye - he jumped into recommendations, explained why he recommended each item, he was very transparent through the entire process, and answered any other questions I had - very knowledgeable and friendly. We were able to get higher quality plank flooring for cheaper than Lowe’s/Home Depot with much better customer service. I have zero complaints and I highly recommend going to Corvin’s and working with Ian if you can!! Love Corvin’s,...
