Eye Look Optical — Local services in Lexington

I actually live in Boston and take the T, so normally I would not go out to Lexington to get glasses. But I am so glad I did! I went to Eye Look because I saw they had a brand of frames I love called Face à Face. (They're French!)

When I came in the store, I could see they had lots of really nice brands in addition to Face à Face. Everyone was really friendly. At first I thought I'd find a bunch of frames I liked, then ask someone which looked best. There were a lot that I liked. When Matt asked if he could help me, I ended up just asking him to find the frames he thought would look best on me. He nailed it on the first try! I love the frames he found . He was very knowledgeable and professional, as well as fun. It is obvious that he and everyone else there takes pride in their work. He even used this very cool machine to take a 180 degree picture of my eye area to make sure everything was placed right, plus he double checked to make sure the new prescription I had was right, because it was a big change from my previous one. It turned out that a slightly different prescription actually was better.

I am excited about my new glasses and will post a picture when I get them! I feel like they are going to be very flattering, sort of like jewelry...

I don’t typically give reviews but in this case I feel that Eye Look Optical has earned a 5 star rating. I strongly believe that while you come for the product, you stay with a company because of the service. My experience with Anna Maria was exceptional. Professional, knowledgeable, and friendly, she helped me find the glasses that fit and looked great. The selection and equipment used to fine tune prescription glasses was the reason I chose Eye Look and they exceeded my expectations. But the reason that I will go back again and again is Anna Maria. If you need glasses, give them a try, you wont be disappointed!

I wrote this review 3 months ago and wanted to add an update. Too many times we have a great experience and then the next time doesn't live up to the bar we set the first time. I can say that this time was even better. I went back to see Anna Maria about a second pair of glasses and couldn't be happier. My experience was even better than the first visit! She spent time with me to review the different brands and styles to find me the perfect pair. Thank you to the whole team at Eye Look. I'm looking forward to bringing...

Both my wife and I have been customers of EyeLook for a number of years, filling multiple prescriptions for progressive glasses, including sun glasses. They have always offered helpful guidance in choosing styles that fit each individual. On the customer service side, unmatched, encouraging free adjustments and free cleaning. Recently, their customer service was put to the test again when I had a pair of Maui Jim sunglasses break. I had relocated from the area and was worried I would not be able to have them looked at or repaired. Contacted them, sent pictures of the damage and they immediately said they would reach out to Maui Jim. They confirmed the sunglasses could be repaired, asked me to mail them the broken sunglasses. They made the repairs (no charge!), calling me every 2 days with an update, and sent me the sunglasses via UPS to my new address, along with some other eye are products.
