I came here to build an engagement ring with my boyfriend at the time. A girl named Katie “saved everything I wanted” in an account for him so when he decided to build it, it would be easy. Later he went back build the ring and proposed a little over 6 months after receiving it. However, they managed to save everything I did NOT want and that is how my ring was built. When I went back to the store to speak with them about how we could fix it, I was told I would be “better off building a whole new one.” I asked for NO hidden halo, but a halo that was facing up parallel with the center stone- it has a hidden halo instead. I asked for this because I do not like to see the prongs (this was explained), and instead I get a ring with very large prongs. I had sent Katie pictures of a ring very similar and we spoke with the jeweler to see if he would be able to do that, he said yes. I ended up speaking with Lisa and she told me that if we want to change anything, they would “try to take a little bit off of the price.” She did have the jeweler grind down the prongs, but they are still very noticeable. I do not blame my fiance because like any man, he knows nothing about rings and he was told they had everything I wanted saved. So, I now have an engagement ring that I don’t wear and my fiance has $6,000 down the drain. Go somewhere else to build your ring! Reeds may be a tiny bit cheaper, but not when they mess it up and then want you to...
Read moreI'll start by saying that I'm a man and basically have/had no knowledge of which ring to buy for my priposal. A friend recommended Reed's because of their warranty policy.... apparently some places require a "checkup" on the ring every 6 months or so. If youre like me, you wouldnt want to create any unnecessary struggles for your partner in the future, so.... I gave it a shot.
I met Kaitlyn at the counter and right out of the gate, she eased my mind. I literally handed her my phone (fiancée's pinterest board pulled up) and just mentioned what I was looking for. We spent about 10-15 minutes discussing my girlfriend's preferences and things she had said about rings and it was basically done. She pulled up a picture of EXACTLY what I wanted. I paid, and in less than 2 weeks, they had finished making it.
Guys, these people care. I sized the ring incorrectly (go figure) and called to start the long, painstaking process of getting it resized. However, Reed's had the ring resized in THREE DAYS. They even added little gold bulges on the bottom so it wouldnt spin due to the size of the stone. I literally can't praise these people enough. My fiancée ended up with the perfect ring and I have peace of mind, knowing Reed's will bend over backwards to make everything quick and...
Read moreWent in today to just look for what they had available for wedding bands for my fiancé and I. Though we had no intentions of making a purchase, Erica made a simple and fun experience to the point where we left with our wedding bands. We had just come from a rather pleasant experience at a competitor but what Erica did and how she treated us made all of the difference. We had very vague, yet, specific ideas as to what we wanted and she did wonderful with the selection in the men’s section but when nothing sparked our interested she kept on asking us what things we liked and after looking at one of her own pieces she had the idea of taking us to look at other rings that were not bond to the men’s section and that is where we found the ones we wanted. Her approach, her demeanor, her bubbly and accepting personality really made the difference and the fact that she went not just the extra mile but 10 miles over made it a wonderful experience. Thank you Erica for your kindness...
