Took our 16 month old here and was HIGHLY disappointed. First off, the front girl seemed like she would rather be ANYWHERE else but there... she was standoffish, didn't greet us, didn't engage with our happy, smiling toddler AT ALL. She made us honestly wanna turn around but we gave it a chance and this place isn't it. It also prevents ANY outside drinks/food (including toddler food) but definitely doesn't offer enough variety/options for their ages AT ALL. It's underwhelming with a lack of activities. The "under 3 room" is a small back room that has 2 hard cars acting more like a decoration (great for a photoshoot) but that's all, my little man was definitely disappointed it didn't do a SINGLE thing. The ball pit was pathetic and small outlets (thankfully covered) were scattered around this room. Stacking blocks, gymnastics mats, climbing caterpillar and a climbing triangle completed this room. At one point, this room became cluttered with older kids while my toddler was trying to hang out in it (its not monitored so we left the section versus causing a scene but shows how well the rules are enforced and how it puts parents having to enforce them themselves--the children were obnoxiously too big for the room, not slightly). The arcade games were very limited (I believe there are 5 only) and even to ride the carousel (a small 3 animal one only for toddlers) you need actual change/cash (we only had our debit cards). The front features a giant inflatable slide, with 3 slides and 2 giant bounce houses. They have "shops" in the front that only small children can fit into, yet these "shops" were the EXACT same inside-- one Little Tikes kitchen with no food/accessories. They do have a mini, wannabe, build a bear but nothing special. It was dark with a sign saying it is always open, just ask an associate (so the front girl... NO THANKS!). Overpriced, of course, as well. If I am coughing up that kind of money for a Build a Bear experience... we are doing a Build a Bear experience! This place is just a bounce house that you would take a 5-10 year old to burn off energy and leave afterwards, nothing more. Save your money AND time.... I HIGHLY recommend Superkidz Club in Overland Park though! We messed up by visiting this indoor playground before Fun Run causing Fun Run to leave the worst taste in our mouths. OVERALL, DISAPPOINTING experience and will NOT be returning NOR do we...
Read moreKids always have a fun time here but is a very stress filled time for me. Way too many people for the space. Tables are kind of in the way leaving little room for parents to watch their kids in the jungle gym attraction. You can easily lose sight of your kid in that thing if you look away for a second after being shoved by kids running by or by parents trying to get closer to play area (which is because tables leave small walkway in front of play gym when it is crowded) The big bounce area in front is always filled with kids throwing balls at each other and not paying attention (it has volleyball net and soccer goals inside) It may be fine for bigger kids who want to play like that but every kid doesn't want to. So if your kids are bigger then it's probably not that bad, go. If your kids don't need much supervision, go. If it's not crowded and I have no idea when that is, definitely go with any age child. If you have smaller or young kids like mine 4 and small 6 you'll be worried about them often. Be it getting ran over and pushed by bigger kids in play gym or getting hit with balls and fallen on in big bounce area. My kids are not the rough playing kind I might add so you know if yours are, they will probably be fine. My kids end up in the back by the single jump house and inflatable basketball hoop thing oh and games you have to pay for to play which is fine but if that's all I'M paying for them to do then I might as well take them to Chuck E Cheese where they can do more. But as I said before it would be different if it wasn't crowded or if it were just smaller kids. or just bigger kids, I'm sure they get tired of the little ones...

Yes, I did talk to your staff. The first time I talked to them, i asked if you normally have more staff and was told no. Before we left, I was approached by the other staff member that also said no and implied that the problem was the parents on their phones, tablets, and laptops. You will see in your video that she even points to the woman sitting by me on her laptop. Also, at no point did I tell anyone that I had been there before, as today was our first visit. Based on your latest response, it will also be our last visit. Yes, school was out today. Yes, it was only announced two days ago. I'm not sure where I was during the video footage you looked at, but no, your staff did not walk around monitoring the areas of play.
Very disappointing. Maybe I'm just used to places that have staff stationed around to make sure that rules are being followed. You won't find that here. While at Fun Run, you have to watch your kids and play referee unless you don't mind your kids being pushed, shoved, and even hit by kids that don't know how to wait their turn or follow the rules. It's cheaper than trampoline parks, but I would rather pay more for a limited amount of play time so that I'm not babysitting other people's kids and making sure they don't hit my kids and follow the rules. We were going to have my son's birthday party here next month, but I don't feel comfortable inviting our friends and family to a place that doesn't offer some...
