First I would like to preface this by saying I hardly ever leave reviews, especially bad ones. My husband and I have been to this Texas Roadhouse multiple times and have had good to great experiences. We love going to Roadhouse for birthday dinners and today is my husband's birthday so we made plans with our friends for dinner. We had a party of 4 and were immediately seated in the section directly to the right of the front doors (where the waiting area used to be but now they have tables). We sat at our table for over 15 minutes without ever being greeted by a server. There was a server who walked past twice but she never acknowledged us. After sitting there for over 15 minutes my husband approached the host stand and asked if we had a server. He was told "no", then told "you need to flag your server down"...which was completely contradictory on top of the fact we literally didn't know who our server was because they never even came to the table. I hate to be one of "those" people. I waited tables all through college so I am more than understanding when mixups happen. But to basically be told it was our fault for not receiving service because we didn't flag down a server is just asinine. Not one employee offered to help and we were made to feel like we were inconveniencing them by simply being a patron in their restaurant. So we decided to leave and went to the Jose Peppers across the street. They were much busier but we were seated within 5 minutes. Within 10 minutes of being at the table we were approached by 4 different employees, received our drinks and appetizers AND our orders were placed. Idk, maybe try...
Read moreFood was cold. The message I received when placed said it would be ready at 7:37pm. I was planning on being there a few minutes before 7:37 but at 7:26 I got a text saying food was ready. 11 minutes early!!!Had to rush to get food now. Got home with food and everything was cold. We order all the time from here but after this visit I don't think I'll be coming back. Ribs were dry along with the 2 pork sandwich's I ordered. The buns for pork were over done and 1 was almost burnt. All 4 salads were warm, ice cream was melted when I picked up the order. I can expect some melting on the way home but to get it already in a soup like matter is unacceptable. Maybe if you had an app that showed where your order was in the process then people could plan accordingly. If you are running early then people could adjust their schedule to show up to receive hot food or at least warm. My order sat for 10 min without any refrigeration for cold items and no warming area to retain heat on the hot stuff. The purpose of ordering takeout and arriving at time given is so you get the food as fresh and hot as possible and so you don't have to cook that night. What’s the point if you gotta go home and throw salads in fridge to cool off so you don't eat soggy lettuce and mushy croutons and throw everything else in a microwave or oven to heat up. It defeats the purpose. Thanks for the disappointment and the work I had to put in to save the $90 I spent on dinner and dessert. Btw I threw the ice cream away. Complete let down. I hope you take my review seriously and make some changes, customers deserve...
Read moreSo my husband and I don't like to eat out often. Our son is Autistic and it just isn't fun for us to bring him places because he RARELY sits still, and he's a decently picky eater. Well, I'm pregnant with our second baby and happened to be pregnant for my birthday. We invited some family members out with their kids and had a decent sized party to go out to eat since I have been craving a really good steak. Though they don't take reservations, they were able to accommodate me calling early in the week and assist with the steps on how we can ensure enough seats with a lower wait time. I called Sunday morning, and they assisted further, saying we needed to call 2 hours before we'd actually be showing up since the waitlist only accommodates up to 2 hours. Totally fine, and I did that because we had 7 adults and 6 kids ages 5 and under. My husband and I decided to share a "texas sized meal" since I'm in my third trimester and I can't eat a whole lot. It absolutely filled the both of us up! Our son needed a booster seat and sat in that pretty well. The only thing I had a hard time with was how loud it was in the restaurant. Again, our son is Autistic and doesn't like a bunch of noise, so by hour 1, he was ready to go. In total, it took us almost 2 hours to sit, order, get our food, eat, and slightly socialize. It was a very busy Sunday, so I anticipate that would contribute to the long time. I'm sure we will be back again. They're my...
