I had went in as some what of a last minute decision since my regular hairstylist didn't have any appointments set up till she received her second COVID shot. I did not have a good experience. I went in to only touch up my highlights and lowlights, from where my hair growth was towards my scalp. I have done this numerous times before and never had any issues with my stylist. I will say this Customer service was awesome! However customer service is not what i paid for I intended to pay for my hair to be done. I walked in at 10am and didn't leave till 3:30 p.m.. The first round she took her time - everything was great! Neither her nor do I understand what happened but the color turned an immediate gold not the platinum or silver at all which would match the rest of my highlights. It was a noticeable difference. She reapplied for a second time left it in a bit longer, put some toner on it and my hair turned purple. I assumed it was the toner - paid and left. I walked out to the car in the sunlight I looked in the mirror and absolutely hated it. It was not a professional job - my stylist said "that is unacceptable they need to fix that" i walked in and told the store manager - she even mentioned my hair looks almost green. She gave me the perm without cutting my hair before she said she would cut it after I asked her but she thought it didn't need trimmed. I went home the next day and it was already falling out hadn't even washed it. Call her the next day to make an appointment because I thought getting a trim would maybe bring the bounce back in the perm. So I went back in on Saturday and she proceeded to cut my hair I told her I kind of wanted it layered to bring the perm back in So then she cut all my perm off. I paid $107 for the most worst perm and haircut I've ever had in my whole entire life and I'm 62 years old. I was so disappointed and I hate my hair. Decided to drive to Ulta and WOW was greeted at door by a gentleman who immediately asked if I needed help and directed me to Liz. She was amazing. Not only did she help me, she applied the products before I left. I knew before I left I loved everything I got. She also had the cutest haircut and told me Lacey had cut her hair and called back to the salon for me (I didnāt know they had a hair salon) and got me booked with Lacey. I went to my hair appt with Lacey and another absolutely amazing experience. Not only do I love the cut, Iām booking again with her for color. I literally had compliments on my hair from customers standing in line as we waited to pay before we left. I cannot thank these two ladies and the gentlemen at the door enough. This is my place to go and refer everyone to now. I needed this experience more than I care to admit. Competitors should definitely take notes from here....
