Spoke to a man on the phone a few days before who seemed very nice, informative and agreed to take a look at what i had. I havent done a ton of research on coins but, i was becoming very interested in the history and the excitement of finding the needles in the haystacks.... when trying to engage with people in this profession this far they seem to be very snobby to a new comer. Obviously forgetting they too once were clueless. So i was really uneasy about coming into an actual place with the uneasy judgements i was already getting for trying to learn.
The first man greeted me with a smile and asked if i would mind being seated while he finished up with a customer, a large lady with judgmental glares of which was snobbish to them and to me. The second man, a large man with a goat tee was waiting on a lady with her son. He was very friendly. Sociable, and was entertaining the room with trivia knowledge of all sorts. He seemed highly knowledgeable about his job and other things and made the tension in my stomach easy a bit. Then came a third man, Matt i believe. He came in and ran to the back where he stayed. And then the other two asked for his assistance with me. He came out and seemed eager to get rid of me saying he had to he to the bank and threw all my coins on the counter that i had gently placed in sheets and was inder the impression that this kinda movements would harm the condition of the coins and tale away the integrity of the coins, he then slide his hand across the top of a few pieces and abruptly said " nope nothing here these aren't anything " i wanted to find out a bit of info and learn what to look for but the man treated me as if i were an imposition to his day and threw 4 bucks st me for my foreign coins and took off out the door.
Yeah never trying...
Read moreCame in to see what was available and was explained different options in great detail. Everyone at the shop is super friendly. I bought 10oz of silver from the shop. The next day I went online and was shopping around for precious metals. I came across the same exact 10oz silver bar I bought the day before. The website I was on had the lowest prices I could find. Well when I saw the price of what the store sold me the silver bar for and what the price of the same bar was online, the store hands down beat the price! I could not be any happier with my purchase, I even came back again to make another purchase the next day. It's good to know they are friendly and trustworthy. I love to support local businesses and I will continue doing business with these fine folks. It's easy to try and rip someone off who is new to the precious metal game but instead they helped me out and have created a returning customer! ...
Read moreThis place is so cool! I called earlier in the week to ask I could bring my 7 year old in to look around as he began collecting pennies. Costa was super nice on the phone. We came in today, my son brought one of his penny folders to show it off, We were there for more than an hour and the two guys helping us answered every one of my sons questions and showed him everything he wanted to see, gave him tips on how to hold coins AND let him search through a bowl of their pennies. We made some small purchases of pennies and a 1/2 dime. When we left, he proclaimed that this place was awesome. THANKS FOR MAKING MY SON'S DAY SUPER SPECIAL! We will definitely be back. If you're into collecting coins or currency, or want to see some neat stuff, check this place out, They have a little bit...
