Nail City — Local services in Lilburn

I have visited this salon several times. While I can't say the service is exceptional, the quality-to-price ratio makes it worth a visit. I prefer to focus on my work without much conversation, so I don't engage much with the staff. However, it does annoy me when they constantly chat among themselves in a language I don't understand. During my last visit, I found myself in an uncomfortable situation. I waited for 10 to 15 minutes before one of the workers finally instructed me to sit down in a specific spot for my manicure. As I walked over, the employee began speaking in a foreign language with another staff member in the back of the salon. They were clearly discussing me, and I stood there feeling completely confused and unable to understand what was happening. At last I said what I wanted - a regular manicure - which she obviously didn't like the service and told me to wait for another 10 min. She went to finish the pedicure she had started and it was clear to me that I would be standing there for at least another 20 min. Feeling offended I decided to leave. I will not be returning...

They should shut this place down. I frequent the salon just for eyebrow arching and I was very pleased up until yesterday. The owner who usually does my eyebrows was gone so another girl offered to do my eyebrows. From the moment I sat down I regretted it. I don't believe she had any training because the wax didn't feel hot enough and she kept saying "relax". After about 3 minutes my skin started to feel like it was on fire, she then put aloe vera cooling gel on it which seemed to accelerate the burning. So I returned today to inform the owner and she says, "sorry maybe your skin to sensitive". This was my very first Pedicure (My Sister's Treat)..I've got to say I was disappointed as the nail techs did not speak any English and never understood a word that came out of our mouths...When we asked questions they would just shrug there shoulders. I was charged $42.00 for my Pedicure which was the same amount they charged my Sister, but she received the deluxe Pedicure and me just a regular Pedicure, so I was definitely overcharged for mine, being they don't speak English they didn't understand our concerns of being overcharged.
