Little Antique Mall — Local services in Lincoln City

I love browsing antique malls and always find things I love. Today, sadly, my visit was short as the woman working there was not very friendly. She was talking to a local about her dislike of tourists and so I should’ve expected a gruff response to my question, but I was hopeful. She was not interested in helping and regarded me with clear distaste. As her conversation continued it was clear she is most likely unhappy with her life in general and perhaps that is the reason behind her adversarial behavior. It was abrasive enough that the experience was soured and I left the items I had picked out as to not have to interact with her again.

The Sea Hag right next door is LOVELY and the women there were bright and helpful. Venture there for sure! I found a similar treasure to what I had left behind after the rude encounter so the day was saved thanks to the Sea Hag team!

I'm a local, and I have been in several times. Every time I go in, I get barked at by the woman behind the plastic sheeting to wash my hands. She wanders around glaring at people. It's actually kind of funny how nasty she is EVERY time I go in without fail. The last time I went in really was the last time. She grumped at my 18 month old daughter and my mom for LOOKING at a cat. Not touching. Looking. I left her a note asking her if it would kill her to be friendly. Later I saw her wad it up, so I'm guessing that yes, it would kill her to be friendly. We have a large home in Lincoln City and a love for antiques, and have purchased from their shop several times. Do not buy any trading cards boosters or wax packs here. The store nor dealer will guarantee the condition of these cards, even though the dealer is selling them as NEW cards because they are in sealed packages and selling them at NEW prices.

When I opened the packs, the cards were damaged and stuck to each other. The dealer did not store the cards in a cool area. The cards melted. This is horrible. Spent $40 here and they will not let me return or exchange the unopened sealed packages.

There is only one dealer that sells sealed packs of trading cards. Don't buy from him because you will be cheated and disappointed.
