I used to like this store a lot, i was shopping here since the day they opened, ever since i was a kid going there with my family. They USED to be alright! Thats a thing of the past. These days, the management/staff are extremely rude, distant, judgemental, even intimidating at times. ... and they PROFILE anyone who doesnt look like your “average Joe”. So if youve got a BEARD, or LONG HAIR, or even just wearing RAIN GEAR, or if you seem a bit TOO HAPPY, or if youre IN A HURRY, or even if youre simply just a TRAVELLER. Ive seen it all. They will follow you around the store, and verbally harass you because they think youre stealing something. I saw a guy last week try to return some items, and they bullied him so much, he ended up having to leave and do his shopping trip elsewhere. All because they THOUGHT he was being untruthful. They called him all kinds of names as several employees circled around him, threatening to call the police. The worst of it is, they arent even willing to be kind or even helpful if you go to talk to them. Even if you dont fall within their spectrum of judgement. They just shrug you off and tell you to find it yourself while scowling at you. As if they’ve got better things to do than their job. Ive even seen some of the employees telling the customers to make their children be quiet, just because they were laughing too much. 🙁 There’s another store just across the street. I suggest you go there if you want to avoid being harassed. Needless to say, i wont be...
Read moreThis place doesn't deserve to even be open. There stuff isn't any lower then Safeway or mckays but I would pay the price different anyway . I will never set foot into that store again. Today we stopped in real quick to grab a few things cause sometimes they have cheaper stuff and we took our dog in as we always have for over a year and one of the employees got a attitude with us saying " dogs aren't allowed in here unless there certified service animal . I told her we have been bringing him in here for a year and no one has said anything. We even brought him in to the new store and no body has said anything . I told her he was a service animal and as she walks away she yells throughout the store I'm just doing my job.then comes back up to me saying she didn't like the way I talked to her when she was just trying to do her job. Rising her voice to the point of her shaking . I commented ' wow great customer service you have. A few more things were said , I didn't even finish shopping ,I got her name we checked out and we left. She overheard me asking for her name and came back around saying very loudly and with attitude " it's Anne my name is Anne. I told the lady that checked us out I WILL NEVER STEP FOOT INTO THIS STORE AGAIN . Your supposed to keep customers wanting to come back cause of the atmosphere and the way your treated not make them to were they never...
Read moreI was shopping for groceries today and got to the cash register. I had a decent amount of groceries and decided to buy some mikes hard lemonade. The cashier told me she needed the ID of both me and the person I was with. The woman i was with wanted to come with me last minute and didn't bring ID. I told the cashier she didn't have her ID. She grew very angry and told me I was creating a big problem for her. There was a new law that everyone in the party needs to provide ID. I've never heard of such a law, I looked it up and there is no such law. If a father with kids buys alcohol he can't do it because he has kids?? She tells me I am creating a big problem for her and gets on the intercom to call over a manager. I honestly didn't really care and would have just said forget the alcohol but she was so rude and accusatory to me. Also there is no such law! I was just trying to buy groceries!! Why did she need to get on the intercom to make a huge fuss? If there was some new law that isn't anywhere on the internet yet, then politely tell the customer it is a requirement and you are sorry for the inconvenience! Don't tell them they are big problem and get on the intercom for a manager with a line of people waiting for this nonsense!!...
