Sweet Rainbow Candy Store — Local services in Lincoln City

The prices on this candy are so high that I wanted to turn around and leave after they rang it up. I of course didn't even know the prices until that point, since they aren't posted anywhere. $2 an ounce! I went home and weighed my small handful of chocolate covered gummy bears to see if maybe I was over reacting, but it was worse then I thought. 4.5 gummy bears to an ounce. Almost 50 cents per bear. And let's be honest, they sure as heck weren't homemade, these things are straight out a bulk bag. As a local, this is really peak tourist...

We bought about 7 different types of candy from this store. The prices were okay. The truffles we tried at the shop were great but the packed ones had fungal growth inside them. Photos at the bottom. Quite horrifying as it is hazardous to health if I heated in high amounts. We stored it in fridge the entire time and ate it next day so the fungal growth was already developed. LOVE THIS PLACE. I had the bubblegum chunk and play Doug ice cream, some of the best I ever had. Bonus points: it's been 5 days and my poop is still green.
