Olivia Beach Camp Cabins — Hotel in Lincoln City

Stayed in Cabin #767 April 20-23rd 2023. By far the worst condition AirB&B we’ve stayed in. From the first pictures we saw of the website showed a well taken care of landscaping and property. But upon arriving we find the wooden benches around the communal firepit are gone or been used as firedwood. All the property is overgrown and look to not have been touched in quite some time. The wood retaining wall outside the cabin was rotten and falling apart in many place. One top board was completely rotten and fallen off the top and support beams were rotten to the core. The swimming pool at the upper part of the property was covered in grime and part of the west side of the cover was submerged in water. The pool was in a construction area where they were building some sort of concrete retaining wall. Now for the inside… though the unit was cleaned up, the entry bench just inside was so stained you didn’t want to sit on it. Almost all of the decretive pillows on the bench and main couch were stained with dirt and who knows what else. The bathroom has been painted in areas with a different shade of the turquoise paint on the wall by the vanity. The vanity mirror was lopsided and barely hanging on. Most of the fixtures in the bathroom were rusting as well. The light over the bathtub/shower was burned out. The main light in the downstairs bedroom was burnt out and also the 1 of the wall lights in the loft was burned out as well. They rented one of their cabins to a group of 12-14 young, loud, college-aged kids while we were staying in a nearby rental. They took up parking that wasn't theirs, and stood outside drinking and laughing and smoking dope after most of us just wanted to sleep (of course they were outside...how can you fit so many in a tiny cabin?) We could hear these kids from a few streets over. I found their website and sent a text to the number listed. No response. So I assume the cabin owners know who/what they are renting to. I felt especially bad for the folks staying in the other Olivia Beach Camp Cabin next to them. Cute rentals, but the owners are not selective about who...

The owners were very easy to get ahold of at any time with a fast response to questions we had. They were very generous with their amenities and the camp cabin was a cute and quaint little unit. The privat hot tub was amazing and felt so good to relax in after a long walk on the beach. We were so lucky it snowed during our stay! It was so beautiful! Even though the unit wasn’t on the beach, or a beach front, just above the fire pit is a little path that you can’t step out on to view the sunset from above the coastline.
