From the moment you walk into Nelscott Breakfast House, you’re hit with this warm, positive, blessed vibe that instantly lifts your mood. The atmosphere is inviting, full of energy, and just radiates good vibes—it’s the kind of place that makes you feel like you’re exactly where you’re meant to be.
The food? Next level. They’ve got all the breakfast basics covered, but what really impressed me were the more adventurous options. I tried the eggs, ham, pineapple, and mango omelette—yes, you read that right—and it was a flavor bomb in the best way possible. If you're looking to send your taste buds on a trip, this is the spot.
Service was a solid 11/10. The staff was kind, attentive, and genuinely cared that we were having a great experience. And to top it all off, when we couldn’t decide between crepes or beignets for dessert, they brought us both—on the house. Talk about above and beyond.
As for the music, don’t let the negative reviews fool you. Some folks complained about the Christian music, but honestly, it added to the uplifting vibe. It fit the atmosphere perfectly and made the whole place feel even more positive and welcoming.
The place was packed, and it's easy to see why. Great food, amazing service, and a feel-good atmosphere that sticks with you. I’ll definitely be back and will recommend it to everyone I know. Nelscott Breakfast...
Read moreWe were in town for our 10 yr wedding anniversary for a couple of days and we enjoy a good breakfast. My husband goggled restaurants while I got ready. He said this place had good reviews.
We pulled up out front and I was so excited to see it was close to the Christmas shop lol. We went inside and I was immediately impressed with the cozy atmosphere! Seating was spaced out. Staff super friendly! We immediately felt comfortable.
The menu was great! I haven't seen a Montecristo on a menu in forever! I had the crab omelet special....so good! And my husband had the Tsunami bowl and he loved it. We were so full!!
The next day was our last day in Lincoln City and my turn to pick a place. I picked a place a little farther south on 101. Had good ratings, but I guess I should've actually read them too. We had a horrible experience and left due to no service. Drove back up 101 to the Nelscott Breakfast House. Seated immediately and had our same server. We said "we're back"! And we had a GREAT breakfast!! Well this time I had lunch and had the chicken wrap & my husband had the House Favorite. So so good! Even tried the beignets because a friend of mine said they are a must and they did not disappoint!! Our waitress was the sweetest and even sent us on our way with...
Read moreBased off other reviews we had hopes this place would have been good.
Wait time- 20 min, but was seated soon. Off to a good start.
Service- meh, nothing to brag about but got the job done.
Food- it all looked great, but 3 out of 4 dishes from our group were bland. The dish that had decent taste was the French toast. The over easy eggs from one dish had whites were way under cooked. Looking at reviews there is another reviewer that had the same issue a few months back. The potatoes were a deep brown, but under cooked as well. The chicken on the monte Cristo tasted like the way chicken smells when it's boiled, very under seasoned chicken taste. The side of fries someone from our table ordered were tasty.
Ambiance- it was cute, small costal spot vibes. We were seated downstairs so I'm unsure what it was like upstairs. Walking in there is a whiteboard that had "God is amazing" written on it, and inside there was Christian music playing. Just making mention, since how that's received can vary greatly.
Overall- based off previous reviews I'm hoping we hit an off day. But it's unlikely we'll be back on any of our...
