ALBERT'S FURNITURE — Local services in Lincoln Park

Came in a couple weeks before Thanksgiving to purchase a couch. I already new what one I wanted, as I had looked on their website before coming in. Once me and my husband got there we were greeted by an older gentleman with glasses. He seemed nice and helpful, but he kept pushing for us to purchase something in stock. I wanted what I wanted. After taking measurements and talking to someone from Ashley warehouse we were sure the couch I picked out would fit. We left to go get the money and came back 20 minutes later. This time the guy was outside smoking a cigarette and basically told my husband the couch wasn't going to fit and all this nonsense and basically cold shouldered him. I came home and ordered the couch directly from the Ashley warehouse. Not only was it cheaper and delivered before what the guy at Albert's said it would be delivered we also got the extension with cup holders. The couch fits great. Not sure why he didn't want to sell us a couch. I'm sure they make more money when they sell their floor products. I won't go back there again or...

I had ordered a sofa and loveseat from another furniture store and they kept pushing my delivery date out. I was moving into my own place and I needed furniture asap. The first time I stoped at Albert's Furniture, I didn't see anything I wanted. Cheryl went through all their inventory with me. I still didn't see anything I wanted. She suggested I try her brother's store and also to stop back in Albert's because they always get new inventory. So, I received notification the set I ordered from the other store would be further delayed. It had been a couple of weeks, so I headed back to Albert's. After sitting on desk chairs for a week because our old furniture broke we went out to several other places before arriving here. Not only did no one have anything in stock but they wouldn't split the sets and could not get us anything until December. We thought we were screwed and going to have to get bean bag chairs!!! Then we met Cheryl...she is the BEST!!!! She not only went out of her way to contact the manufacturer but also talked the owner into selling us the last loveseat they had but also contacted the driver and arranged delivery the same day!!!!
