Samovar - European Deli — Local services in Lincoln

Samovar primarily sells Polish stuff, with some Russian and German goods too. They're a clean, well organized little store and have some really fun stuff like canned meats, tinned fish, preserved fruits and jams, and pastries. There is a great chocolate selection, and they sell a ton of different cheeses and sausages behind the deli counter. They also have a crazy selection of dried fish, including dried barracuda, so if you're into that then this is the place for you. Most of the food labels are in Polish, so maybe bring a Polish friend or be prepared to ask an employee for help, because they sell some things that you can't figure out just by looking at the pictures...

This place is AMAZING!!!! My ancestors are Germans from Russia and I always struggle to find the food I grew up eating. I went here to look for vereniki for Easter and THEY HAD IT!!!! Not only that, they had an AMAZING array of eastern European food that took me back to my childhood. 😊 The deli itself was very clean with an amazing selection. I call this store "wonder land" because most things I grew up with I can find them in this store. They have a great selection that would please people from Russia, the Caucasus and Eastern Europe including yummy homemade food as well as those who would like to try things from this region.
