My experience with Duluth Trading Co. was nothing short of abysmal. I purchased three pairs of their supposedly durable pants, banking on their "No Bull Guarantee" which allegedly promises quality and longevity. However, when I attempted to utilize this guarantee due to identical holes forming in all three pairs in the exact same spot, I was met with utter disbelief and condescension from their customer service.
Firstly, I was told that these holes were merely the result of "wear and tear." Excuse me? Wear and tear to the extent of uniform holes in precisely the same location on three separate pairs of pants? It's laughable to suggest that this is standard wear for any garment.
To add insult to injury, the representative had the audacity to suggest that I was wearing these pants incorrectly. Apparently, after years of successfully wearing pants, I've somehow forgotten how to properly don trousers. The sheer arrogance of this accusation is astonishing.
Not only has Duluth Trading Co. failed spectacularly in delivering on their advertised promises of durability and customer satisfaction, but they've also managed to completely alienate me as a customer with their dismissive and insulting attitude. The "No Bull Guarantee" is nothing more than a hollow marketing ploy designed to deceive customers into buying subpar products.
Save yourself the trouble and avoid Duluth Trading Co. like the plague. There are countless reputable clothing brands out there that actually stand behind their products and treat their customers with respect. This was a regrettable experience that I will not soon forget, and I urge others to steer clear of this company's deceptive practices and poor...
Read moreThis review is specifically for the store in Manassas. The employees (at least the managers) are dismissive of any customer concerns. I've been a Deluth Customer for over 20 years I like their clothing so when for the very first time I had a problem with a defective pair of $80 pants I brought them in for some help. The assistant manager told me that the pants were damaged by my washing or drying at hot temperatures. I explained that I wash and dry all of our deluth clothing the same way and have never had any problem like this. In the middle of our conversation she abruptly ignored me to tell the ups driver that he was not to use the front door and use the back next time as if he was some sort of child. While I haven't had a problem like this I have seen others frustrated with the level of customer service before on other occasions while purchasing their. We were so turned off by experience that I will not shop there any more and my wife refuses to purchase any more clothing from the company itself. I recommend that the company fix the attitude problem in their only store in the area and stand by their stated guarantees as they are certainly not the cheapest clothing in town. You lost our buisness that day and perhaps more in the future.
Update: within one day Of our problems and posting a review and contacting corporate. We received no less than three phone calls. Two from the corporate office and one from The store manager.. They addressed the issue And showed us some good old-fashioned customer service. The kind that seems to be lacking almost everywhere. Good on you Deluth Trading company 5 stars for this effort...
Read moreI love Duluth. Great quality clothing and just enough other eclectic items to warrant the occasional trip to the store. I really appreciate the "Made in America" label as well. I try not to send as much of my money overseas as possible. And Duluth Trading makes this easy to keep many of my dollars in the domestic economy. I also appreciate their is enough clothing variety to ensure I find an exact fit for the clothes I’m buying. At 6'3", 190 lbs. with a 35" waist, I have a difficult size for most brands to fit with their typical sizing. Other brands' sleeves and torso lengths are too short while waist and overall fit are too baggy or tight. But enough Duluth clothing lines have odd sized waists and the 34"-36" length I need. Shirts and jackets also have the sleeve and torso length I need - without the standard garbage bag shaped styling of so many other lesser brands. Big & fat stores are everywhere (or should I say "obese"? Not sure what term is offensive this month). And "tall and slender" stores are an urban legend. So I tend to buy most of my casual/work clothing at Duluth. I always get great service too. Never intrusive, but friendly, knowledgeable assistance is never far away. Being disabled, this is very important to me as I can no longer wander the isles blindly searching for an item. Thanks Duluth Trading!! PS I hope there is a price tag on the...
