Matt and Stephen Ko are highly knowledgeable technicians. Their turn-around time is excellent, their business practices are customer-friendly and their prices are competitive. My first interaction with Matt and Stephen was about three weeks ago. I took two of my HP laptops (less than 4 years old). One of the laptop which was misdiagnosed and "repaired" twice by a big computer retailer within the first year. The first time, I was told that the laptop's CMOS battery was bad and the second time I was told that for some reason, the boot order was changed ( the tech said it sometimes happens after system software updates). PME told me that an electronic "hard drive" had failed. They replaced it on the spot and I drove home within 2.5 Hrs. I left the other laptop (HP Spectre X360) with them. It's motherboard had died and it was repaired with 2.5 weeks.Additionally today Stephen upgraded my desktop's memory and replaced the power supply which had been making screeching sounds. All this was done at a reasonable cost. In the past, I had used another highly rated local shop for a laptop repair. Unfortunately, hey stopped replying to my emails once I requested onsite service. PME offers onsite service for a reasonable price provided their schedule permits this. I will be their customer for ALL my PC/Mac laptop and Desktop repair needs. I worked as an IT guy with them for 3 years and they saved me and mine from disaster after disaster calmly and professionally. I once watched them restore a server for a body shop so covered with dust we could not tell what color it was...they detected BY SIGHT a failed capacitor...rebooted the server, recovered the RAID drive data and backed it up and returned it to the customer WITHIN 12 hours! I've seen them quickly recover drives, restore RAIDs of ALL LEVELS. I've seen them joke and laugh while restoring a NAS that lost its operating system..AFTER the drive controller reported ALL DATA LOST! They patiently and completely explain problems as they work to resolve them under less than IDEAL circumstances. My boss once threatened to fire me if I did not return to the office with a restored hard drive...and they DELIVERED! You got special needs? You got requirements? Tired of the disinterested Mooks at Microcenter and Best Buy? Want someone OVERQUALIFIED to advise you on setting up ANY kind of server? Don't waste your time! Don't risk your job!...

Now pass off the next generation of "great gaming computers" that can't handle even the simplest of games with specs that should easily allow it. If calling they blame it on too many programs running in the background or whatever else they can think of though they have been known to have been messing up over and over again lately. Will not admit to a mistake and has messed up the last 3 PC's bought from there and charges for fixing their own mistakes, treats customers with problems like idiots irregardless of your computer knowledge and their service is slow as they do not seem to care about the problems that they believe the consumer is always responsible for. Pass it up for pretty much ANY other small computer store or even buy directly from a manufacturer, these people have stopped caring about...
