FALSE ADVERTISEMENT, DECEIVING, INCENTIVE TO COMMIT FRAUD I wish I'd never put foot at this store. I went there Wednesday evening, day before Thanksgiving and was quickly approached by a salesman, he offered a few couches but I did not find any of them comfortable or to my like except of a leather sectional, however, I stated to him that my biggest concern was that I own a cat who could potentially ruin it, he quickly told me to not worry about because I can buy a protection plan (at an additional cost of course) and any damage will be covered unlimited for 5 years. They were about to close the store so he quickly wrapped me up into applying for a store financing, sign here, initial there and before I knew I had ordered a leather sofa, a protection plan and was out the door pending a delivery date confirmation possibly a week after. I left the store and the next day (National Holiday) after reviewing their protection plan, which by the way was sent to me by email, I read that under the things that are NOT covered was listed "pet damage", the first thing I mentioned to the salesman!. I called to cancel the order immediately but of course it was closed. The next day Friday, less than 48 hours after "the sale" and less than 24 hours after a National Holiday I called customer service to CANCEL my order and was re-directed to the store where the same employee advised me to commit fraude. He told me that, when the time comes to make a claim, do not tell the damage was done by my cat... I refused and requested to continue with cancelation, and demanded to have a full refund but I was denied under the claim that "all sales are final" contradicting their policy which states that only floor samples and clearance items are final sales, and yes, I had to search for their return policy online, because the store failed to provide me one at the time of my visit, nor they had any visible signs in this respect. After being firm with my request to cancel the order and issue a full refund, I was transferred to the store manager who said I should have canceled it within 24 hours, it did not matter that their store was closed due to a National Holiday, and again contradicted their policy which states that an order can be canceled up to 48 hours BEFORE the delivery date which in this case was "tentatively" scheduled a week later. After explaining him that I was deceived by their salesman into buying a sofa AND a protection plan that will not protect me at all, not to mention that I was being encouraged by him to commit fraud, the store manager said that he did not have the authority to cancel the order and needed to contact corporate as this is an executive decision. Since then, I called their customer service just to be bounced around, telling me that the store manager is the only one who can approve it and re-direct me to him, I visited the store and talked to the assistant manager AND the store manager in person, they both seemed pretty nice and understanding but still no resolution. He (store manager) refuses to provide a phone number for corporate, saying that all of them are personal cellphones not for public disclosure nor an email where I can express my complaint and dissatisfaction with their service. Just keeps telling me that "they" will give me a call, but the call never comes. In the meantime, interest is being accumulated in a credit card for an undelivered furniture and a useless protection plan that I would have never bought in the first place if proper information was provided at front. I guess my next step will be to contact the State Attorney General and request information about consumer's protection and rights as many violations have occurred and per what I can see I am not the only one complaining about...

I was told this is one of the most top quality for furniture and that they are really on time. definitely have been proven wrong!!!. As you guys see I am not the only one having issues with this company !! please think twice before purchasing here. As said before I was given a day for the furniture to arrive at the distribution center. I didn't get any update so I personally went to this store to talk to customer service. I had to wait for a long time till they assist me , I told the lady that I wanted my refund on the bed frame . they denied it and said they couldn't do that " her answer was if you really want the bed frame you should wait for another month" that " the manufacture was having some issues". I patiently decided to give it a chance as I had no other choice! the month past and Received the confirmation to pick up!!, I was exited and arriving to the T & T Distribution center , the lady told me to wait outside for the guys to load my truck with the furniture. I had to wait for around 40+min, the guy came out and loaded the stuff rapidly to my truck and told me to sign as Received. so I did never did he told me to check my furniture he didn't give me any time to do so. As I get home ready to set my furniture the headboards is broken this is disappointing , I leave pictures here so you guys don't get scam by this stores. The boxes are in perfect conditions. meaning this was given to me already broken ! if this is the issues they were having with the manufacture I should be given my refund back. I have gone back to customer service and yet no luck, this is a shame for this company. 1st and last time I will be purchasing. I have Called and left messages and even sent an email customer service and yet they haven't reply. I NEED ANSWERS! this was NOT FREE!!! please think before purchasing they will tell treat you nice when you pay after that they don't do nothing to help ! Read moreI went to this store 12/23/23 and spent over $1,300 on a tv stand with fire place. Zee was the sales representative and seemed very nice at the time of the sale which is no surprise. Zee told me i could go pick up the item from their distribution center in Frederick so i would have it in time for Christmas, but i didn't have time to do that so Zee told me that the item would be delivered on 1/2/24. I took the day off work to wait for the delivery and to move furniture around so that the delivery team could get the item in our house. However, it was getting late in the day so I called the store and spoke to Zee and she said it wouldn't be delivered today and that she never told me it would be delivered today. Zee flat out lied to me and my two daughters to make the sale on 12/23/23 and when I called her out on her lie she got very defensive, rude, condescending and continued lying to me. So with that I went directly to the store to speak with the manager who was very helpful and figured out the delivery which could be two weeks out from today, but at least they told me the truth and set reasonable expectations unlike Zee. It's a reasonable store with some nice furniture, but they should do a better job hiring and training their sales staff. Zee clearly needs a lot of training as she boldly lied to me and over promised to make the sale. Zee gets zero stars for being a flat out liar, so steer clear of her if you go to this store...
Update on the above review. I have since cancelled my order because the manager told me that he could get the furniture delivered to me by 1/6 or 1/13 at the very latest. After several conflicting texts from Ashley Customer Care, the delivery company and then the store, I was finally told the delivery would be 2/6, but again they couldn't guarantee if the furniture would be available then. Ashley Furniture Store, how about you confirm product availability and delivery dates before taking your customers money, rather than over promising and underperforming I will never shop at this...
