I notice that there is a comment (clearly one that no longer is applicable) praising the previous pharmacist, Jeff. I agree. HOWEVER, Jeff is no longer there. As a result, the pharmacy has no Saturday hours, as well as being closed on Sundays. In addition, it has closed at least twice because no pharmacist was available. When people need their prescriptions filled, they need them filled PROMPTLY,. I am speculating that Jeff found a better work environment elsewhere and made his move, which I can understand. At the same time, this suggests that the local Walgreen's needs to examine its own business practices to ensure it can get and KEEP a pharmacist available. Almost everyone in Litchfield can name two excellent local pharmacists who live locally. They used to own the extraordinary pharmacy that was local - beholden only to its clientele and not to stockholders off in the ether somewhere.
