Oh do we love the Litchfield candy store! My go to is the dark chocolate covered orange peels!! Every year for Christmas my husband will buy me a pound of these! And for valentines day a half pound along with the chocolate covered stem strawberries, a very lovely treat! And of course the kids will always get the little "fun" candies to satisfy their sweet tooth!

I finally stopped in for the first time ever and I was pleasantly surprised. They have a huge variety of candy and treats in a small space. I picked up some treats for the kids for St.Patricks Day as well as some old time favorites. They have many of the harder to find candies and gums I grew up with. I left happy!

I just Lā¤ve this little store! You can find all the "old timey" retro candies you may remember as a kid and many others. There is a wonderful flavor selection of handmade fudge as well as a vast variety of chocolates. There are beautifully packaged gift boxes and you can feel confident that these folks will have a great selection of themed candy for any holiday. They will create any gift box you would like and the presentation will be wonderful, I can assure you. The owners/staff are so friendly and love to explain the history and stories of many items they offer. Seriously, so hard to list all they have to offer. It is THAT amazing and delightful! I always make this shop a priority at Easter,Christmas and Halloween when shopping for my grandsons as they have so many UNIQUE and neat items to choose from. Just GO...You'll love...

I had a coupon for the Litchfield Candy Company. Now, mind you, in my youth, I worked at a very nice candy store in Fairfield county that became my measurement of candy stores. Litchfield Candy Company outshone the candy store of my youth by a thousand fold! There's candy EVERYWHERE! Cases of beautiful handmade chocolates, boxes of movie theater candy, etc. If you can imagine it, it's there! It's all very reasonably priced, too. I know some people still expect a piece of candy for a dime, but those days are long gone. However, getting a handful of candy for $1 is well worth it! For $10, I got a bunch of chocolate covered Oreos, a small handful of bulk candy, a bag of sour gummy worms and a gummy gecko. I left very satisfied and very happy. Next time I'm in northwest CT, I'm going to make it a point...

This is the place to go I can't say enough great things about here. It's a whole world of the best chocolates for one and items I haven't seen in 35 years. Owners are the nicest people,brothers. Just go you will be amazed take your time and look around. Hidden gem, just pull in and parking is behind candy store. One of my favorites places anywhere to go you...
